About this Cook
Cooking set recipes has come late to me, although I do still like to wing it. I've become adept at baking salmon, broiling chicken breasts, and my specialty is cheesecakes. I am the go-to gal for cheesecakes!
My favorite things to cook
Cheesecakes. Trying to break out into other desserts, but my cheesecakes are still my favorite. Seafood enchiladas. Anything that makes my husband drool, really.
My favorite family cooking traditions
Passed down from my mom: Hot Dog Casserole and Candy Cane Cookies. That is my legacy.
My cooking triumphs
Brown Sugar Meatloaf, Perfectly Pumpkin Cheesecake (my own recipe), Moonstruck's Decadent Chocolate Truffle Bars. I love to make desserts!
My cooking tragedies
I tried to do a roast in a slow cooker, but due to time restraints, I had to alter it a little and it came out tough and unappetizing. Waste of a $12 roast. :(

Fudge Truffle Cheesecake
Super recipe! I did use crushed Oreos for the crust, but the filling was made just as directed. Yum! First time made it plain and second time I made with a mint chocolate ganache on top. Sinful, indeed! Thanks for the recipe!

Lime Kissed Cheesecake
I have made this cheesecake a few times. I bake it just as it says and the texture of the pie is just perfect! I do use a regular graham cracker crust, with added lime zest. I use a citrus juicer and about 10-12 key limes to make the juice and it delivers quite the sour punch. The flavor can be intense for those just wanting a light lime flavor - this is NOT your cheesecake. But always a good one for summer!

Spinach Stuffed Chicken Breast
This recipe was very easy to do and had a wonderful presentation. For some reason, though, it was a little on the bland side. The consensus with my husband and guest was to maybe marinate the chicken breasts before hand and to add more of the pepperjack cheese. Will definitely try again and let ya'll know. Thanks for the recipe!
