Rempel Family Meatloaf

Reviewed: Jun. 23, 2007
Def. will be my staple meatloaf recipe!! So moist and delish!! I did make a couple changes however...I used 1/4 ritz crackers crushed in food processor as well as 1/4 cup oatmeal which I ran through the food process as well. I also used 1/3 cup egg replacer instead of 2 whole eggs. Other than that everything else the same YUM YUM! Oh also, i used 93% lean meat and it was still nice and moist!

these turned out like a coconut chewy center encased in a merang outside, well whatever it was they were really yummy and a hit with all the people that tried them! I would make again but maybe cut down on the sugar a bit next time.

Amazing Pork Tenderloin in the Slow Cooker

Reviewed: Oct. 26, 2005
This was soooo yummy. I even had it cold the next day sliced up in a salad and mmm mmm good. I did make a couple of changes, I used a tbls bottle minced garlic, 1 large clove minced, and then some garlic powder to top it off. I also used the same amounts specified for ingrediants but used a 1 lbs pork tenderloin because of the small amount of people in my home, The pork was ohhhh so tender, and yummy. Will make again!

Chicken and Vegetable Stir-Fry

Reviewed: Sep. 6, 2005
I made this recipe for both my boyfriend and I tonight. I made a few changes, (1) used brown rice (2) scaled the recipe to serve 2m however more that doubled the veg. Used various vegetbales: onions, 3 color peppers, baby corn, mushrooms, pease, bamboo shoots, and other asian vegetables. I also added additional freshly grated ginger after adding the sauce ingrediants, and also it was a must to add soy sauce. peppers, and a few sprinkles hot pepper when plated. Other that this it was good.

Zucchini Cobbler

Had everyone fooled! I made people guess what they thought it was and heard everything from Peach to Apple. I ran out of lemon juice so it ended up being 1/2 lemon juice and 1/2 lime juice. It went over really well and will def. make again!

Absolute Best Liver and Onions

Reviewed: Aug. 13, 2005
My dad is a huge fan of liver and onions and when mom is out of the house this is the time I can make it for him. The smell of buttery onions makes your mouth water and appretite build up! It comes out delish! Just make sure not to over cook, I take it out a few minutes before its done to his likeing because it does cook while off the heat for a few moments anyhow! Calves live is the most tender, but if you marinate in milk most of the day (which I do) and not flip it more than needed you will have a nice tender liver that will melt in your mouth, well atleast cut with a butter knife *smile*
