Delicious! Great chocolate flavor and chewy. My new favorite brownie recipe and very easy to make.

Focaccia Bread

Reviewed: Jul. 24, 2009
I just pulled this out of the oven and it tastes great! I mixed the sugar, water, and yeast together first. Then dumped everything else in the bread machine along with the yeast mixture after it was foamy. I let the machine do the kneading, only about 20 minutes on the dough cycle and then let it rise. I got a french bread looking loaf, which is what I wanted. I'm going to cut it horizontally and use it for grilled veggie sandwiches. I omitted the mozzarella because the sandwiches are going to have feta cheese on them. I also used fresh oregano and basil from my garden. Thanks for sharing the recipe. I will definitely make it again.

Becky's Chicken Salad

Reviewed: Dec. 30, 2006
This is really good. I've made it several times. I've substituted walnuts for the almonds and also added a little green onion and both worked well. Thanks for sharing.

We really liked this dish. It's a great thing to make when you want to add something a little different to the weekly menu. We've made it for company as well and got lots of compliments.

Linda's Lasagna

Reviewed: Dec. 30, 2006
Great sauce, but a little runny. I may not have simmered it long enough. I will substitute ricotta for the cottage cheese next time for a little more flavor. I also used italian sausage instead of ground beef and that turned out pretty good.

This was really good. I reduced the amount of meat to about 1 1b. and added a layer of refried beans. Fantastic.

Yummy Cheese Ball

Reviewed: Dec. 30, 2006
To me, this was just alright. It didn't really have any zesty flavor to it. It was a little bland, even with all the bacon.

Justin's Hoosier Daddy Chili

Reviewed: Oct. 30, 2005
My husband and I entered this in a Chili Cookoff last night and won first place. To make it a little different we added mild italian sausage and reduced the chili powder to 2 tablespoons. Like others suggested, we added 1 can of kidney beans and 1 can of pinto beans. We mixed in some sour cream and cheese and it was excellent. This is really good with the amusement park cornbread recipe from this site.

Cavatini II

Reviewed: Apr. 6, 2005
My husband loved this! The red sauce is a little time consuming because of the long simmer time, so plan ahead for that. I will definately make again.

Steak Salad (Ranen Salad)

Reviewed: Mar. 23, 2005
This salad is excellent. I added guacamole on top and increased the broil time a little for the steak, but besides that didn't change a thing. I will definately make again.
