Peanut Butter Cup Cookies

Reviewed: Jan. 22, 2010
Wonderful! Took them out after exactly 8 minutes and they stayed soft and chewy for the whole week. I do suggest letting warm cookies sit in fridge for a few minutes after you add the reeces cup, or else the candy will melt.

Tater Tot Hot Dish II

Reviewed: Jan. 22, 2010
This is an amazing staple recipe!! I did do as one reviewer suggested and used one can cream of mushroom, one can cream of mushroom and chicken and one can cheddar cheesse soup and about 1 1/2 cup shredded cheddar cheese also, but this was the best and every member of my family cleaned their plate. Thanks!

Puppy Chow I

A staple in our house. Actually this is the treat my daughter asks for after a good report card. No need to mess with this recipe, just plain perfect

Salsa Chicken

Reviewed: Dec. 5, 2009
Very good. I made it exactly as the recipe states. I don't see the need to mess with it. It's supposed to be a simple, tasty recipe. It bothers me how so many reviewers took this easy recipe and tried to make it difficult and completely different. It's good as is. I gave it 5 stars because I did it the way the original poster wanted it and loved it. Thanks for the recipe!

I make this recipe probably once a month. One of the best cakes ever, maybe even better than...-well you know. :)

Kyle's Favorite Beef Stew

Reviewed: Nov. 28, 2009
I made this the other day in the crock pot. Hands down the best beef stew I have ever made. My husband asked me if I really made it or bought it!! I did it exactly the way it is written. I will make this again and again. Perfect for those cold winter nights....

Cheesy Ham and Hash Brown Casserole

Reviewed: Nov. 28, 2009
This was WONDERFUL! In fact I made a lot and hubby and I had it three nights in a row with dinner rolls. I used two packages of O'Briens hashbrowns, 2 cans cream of potato soup and one can cheddar cheese soup. Then used half the container plain sour cream and half a container of french onion sour cream. Also doubled the amount of diced ham and a little more shredded cheese. What a great dish!

Baby Carrots with Dill Butter

Reviewed: Nov. 28, 2009
Was not feeling this at all! Sorry but I can't understand some of the good reviews. I didn't think these were anything special at all. I made them as a side dish for thanksgiving. I don't know why but they seemed dry and unflavorful. Will not make again.

Spinach and Strawberry Salad

Reviewed: Mar. 27, 2008
I'll give it four stars because my kids liked it, and that's not common for a salad. Maybe I should have tried it exactly the way it was written, but I used some reviewers suggestions, I used raspberry vinegar, and less sugar, and I don't know it just wasn't that special. It was okay, but not a better alternative to a nice garden salad, in my opinion.

Mary's Meatloaf

Reviewed: Feb. 19, 2008
I LOVE YOU for sharing this recipe!!!!! This was hands down the very best meatloaf I have ever had. You seriously dont even need ketchup. I did double the sauce as some other reviewers had suggested and I think that was a good idea, that glaze is fantastic. I also used only half an onion but only because my kids were eating this and would have refused if they saw too much onion. That being said everyone had clean plates after this meal and it warmed up great the next day for leftovers night. SO GOOD and flavorful, everyone should tuck this away for a "Staple" recipe. it's a keeper!!

Fettuccini Carbonara

Reviewed: Feb. 19, 2008
I had REALLY high hopes for this dish. But it was just SO bland!!! I did this to a T and just felt like I was eating the equivalent of a plain bowl of pasta. Not one I would use again or recommend. My hubby had maybe two bites.

Mini Ham And Cheese Rolls

Reviewed: Dec. 29, 2007
Okay- these are good-BUT I screwed up the first time by listening to the reviewers advice about putting some of the sauce on the inside as well, instead of just doing it as the recipe said. It was much better the second time when I only put the sauce on the top. When you add it inside too you get an overwhelming onion taste. I used Sara Lee brown and serve dinner rolls and sliced deli ham with swiss. Very good. My 6 year old even liked them and she normally hates "white cheese"! Good appetizer

Double Layer Pumpkin Pie

Reviewed: Dec. 29, 2007
I was really excited about this recipe because it LOOKS so good. I followed the recipe exactly and it was the least touched pie on the table. The bottom cream cheese filling is good, but the pumpkin part wasn't. Maybe if you used a more traditional pumpkin pie filling it would be better.

Snow Tunnel Cake

Reviewed: Nov. 16, 2007
I made this cake the other night and my whole family loved it, kids and husband! It's hard to please everyone with just one thing so I will make this again for sure. The only difference with the one I made was I accidently bought the bigger box of pudding, so there was a ton of filling, I just dug a deeper "trench" But it was so good, the filling is light with the cool whip, not overwhelming at all. Thanks for this recipe!

Linda's Lasagna

Reviewed: Sep. 13, 2007
I am so in debt to you for this recipe. My husband is italian and loves his pasta. I made this recipe a few nights ago and he already wants more. It was absolutly perfect. The only thing I added was a little shredded sharp cheddar along with the mozzerella and I used ricotta instead of cottage cheese. and then along with my 1 pound of hamburger I added one pound mild italian sausage. THANK YOU!
