Fresh Pasta

Reviewed: Jan. 23, 2005
With a pasta machine, this recipe worked well. Would like to try adding spices to it the next time for more tasty pasta.

A three for being different. We used the honey mustard sauce from the Aussie Chicken recipe to dip in. It was good, but still not a knock out.

Creole Chicken II

Reviewed: Dec. 18, 2008
This was excellent! I agree about the use of meat with bones and how it would be optimized using boneless but this worked just fine. We also like curry so I doubled what it called for. My husband loved it!

Cola Pork Chops

Reviewed: Jun. 13, 2008
This is a very versatile recipe. I used a gourmet tomato soup with the cola and the results were two thumbs up! I also browned the pork and added onions. Great recipe - very tender pork chops.

Chicken Cordon Bleu II

Awesome meal. I made it for two and the sauce had to be adjusted more to allow for more - but otherwise I didn't change a thing! Loved it!

Fantastic! The family loved it. The crepes mad it taste much lighter as oppossed to when using a canelloni shell. The results were a great meal that wasn't weighed down by pasta.

Coconut Cake I

Reviewed: May 1, 2010
This was an okay cake. I'm not a huge coconut fan, but it was tasty enough. Just wouldn't bother making it again. Coconut lovers might like it much better. I'd give it a 3.75, but that's not an option. It wasn't hard to make and looked nice.

This was just ok. It wasn't a knock your socks off meal, but it tasted good enough. My husband liked it, but I thought the chops were a bit on the dry side.

Baked Pork Chops I

Reviewed: Feb. 25, 2009
I'll give this a 4, but it was closer to a 3.5 according to the family. I used pork loin chops, which I thought should have been tender, and they weren't. The gravey was nice and went well with the rice. If I had more tender pork and there was just a hint of another flavour in the gravey, it would be a hit.

Stuffed Mushrooms I

Reviewed: Feb. 24, 2009
This might have turned out if the frozen canned crab meat didn't have shell in it! It wasn't cheap and I bought it at a fine butcher shop so I don't know if there is any better type to buy. Only a few mushrooms were eaten.
