Lemon Poppy Seed Biscotti

Reviewed: Jul. 13, 2005
I wasn't very fond of this. Okay flavor but to hard even when dunking in your morning caffine injection. A friend of mine liked them so I let him eat them all. Not a great recipe. If you are set on making this only bake two times. Do not bake the last third time, hopefully you'll have a softer product. Good luck.

Chicken Curry I

Reviewed: Apr. 12, 2005
Really tasty. I recomend only using chicken pecies. They are easier to handle. It was just spicy enough for me because I didn't use the peper. Serve over vegtables and rice

Scottish Shortbread IV

Reviewed: Apr. 4, 2005
Before you try anyother shortbread recipe or buy a package of Walkers you NEED to make these! They are incredible. I made 150 servings for the Soup Hour in my community and everyone loved them. They may not be very traditional but they are better! Just remember to add the flour in 1/2 cup amounts to the mixer and make sure to cream the brown sugar and butter well. Linda you rock my socks!

Chocolate Truffles

Reviewed: Feb. 5, 2005
Very intresting. I liked the recipe. It was easier then most and used ingredients I had in my closets. I made orange truffles and coated them in tempered chocolate. 'Twas easier then I though which was nice. However I shall try my next batch with brandy. MMMM a nice chocolate treat.

Irish Soda Bread Cookies

Reviewed: Jan. 28, 2005
A lovely take off on Irish soda bread. While it is far from traditional it is a lovely sweet treat to enjoy with coffee or tea. If you want more currents add them but I liked it the way it was. A very unique idea for a forgoten favorite. Cheers

Ultimate Maple Snickerdoodles

Reviewed: Jan. 26, 2005
These cookies are pretty good if you arn't in a nut or chocolate mood. I accidently added 1 1/2 tps of nutmeg as well thinking it was the cinnimon and then before mixing the dry ingredients w/ the butter and sugar reilized my mistake. Still they came out lovely. If you want a nice and spicy cake i sugest putting in some nutmeg and mayde just a pinch of salt
