Raisin Puffs
I've been searching for years for a similar recipe that my grandma made, these are pretty close. You must have pretty small walnuts out your way though, I used a cookie scoop and my batch yielded 40 cookies. I will be making these again, but will try rolling them in cinnamon sugar.

Traditional French Canadian Tourtiere
Hallelujah! People have begged for my toutière for years, and I never had a recipe to give them! (pinch of know, like grand-maman!). This is so close to mine, I'm going to pass it on (with my little pinches here and there). Try dried poultry seasoning and garlic (powder or other) (to taste!) instead of the liquid chicken seasoning. Merçi!

Creamy Chicken
I made this following the recipe exactly, and though it was good, I decided it needed to be great. So, instead of cooking the chicken as directed, I browned the chicken breasts on medium high heat in a cast iron skillet. (browning adds flavor). I then diluted the chicken soup with a little milk and water and added a dollop of sour cream. Poured it all over the chicken (still in the skillet) and finished cooking it in the oven as directed. Total cooking time was cut down to 25 minutes, and was delicious! Thanks for the inspiration!
