Stop spending your hard-earned money on overpriced coffee drinks.  Complete a quick search on; you're sure to discover a variety of great iced and hot coffee recipes.  You'll find your favorites and probably a few drinks that you'd never get to try otherwise (that's the benefit of making it yourself; you get to experiment and try new things).  Guaranteed, you're going to get the same great tastes, without the steep prices!

Mrs. J., Thank you for the comment. It sounds like coffee dates are a great way for you and your husband to spend time together and get out of the house. Awesome! Don't stop the coffee dates. Still (if you haven't already), check out some of the awesome coffee recipes that are available here on AR:

Have a wonderful day, Brandon

Hello, I can appreciate your feelings of dissatisfaction with commercial coffee places. I prefer to make it at home, too, using excellent ingredients. The fact that it is so cost effective is a bonus. Nice to "meet" someone else that loathes fast food.

About Me
Married since 2003, my wife and I have 3 wonderful children together. When it comes to meal times, I'm the guy in charge. I take my cooking duties seriously, because by creating good meals for the family we spend time at the table and it saves money (we hate fast-food). I enjoy this particular website because of the tools it provides for menu-planning, grocery shopping, and of course - the Great Recipes. Connect with me on Facebook:
My favorite things to cook
I love Indian food, but it is a rarity because of the kid's preference against it.
My favorite family cooking traditions
Oatmeal cookies with grandma Shirley.
My cooking triumphs
Chocolate cake from scratch, including the frosting. Awesome!
