Aunt Bev's Famous Apple Pie

Reviewed: Oct. 18, 2009
YUM! My son-in-law wanted apple pie for his birthday, since we live in Michigan, and it's fall, it was a perfect request. I used a combination of Cortland and Granny Smith apples. This one will be put in the recipe box.

Double-Delight Peanut Butter Cookies

Reviewed: Apr. 14, 2009
These are delightful cookies! Do not compromise and buy store brand cookie dough, it's just not worth it. There are so many things going on with these cookies, sweet, crunchy, creamy.

Jenn's Out Of This World Spaghetti and Meatballs

Reviewed: Oct. 13, 2008
Fantastic! Tried this out before I was going to make it for a group of friends on my Italian son in law. "This is amazing" were his exact words. His brother who just got home from Iraq will be having the leftovers tonight, looking forward to his comments as well. I used ground round and pork mixed together and more garlic and more crushed tomatoes, as I like a chunkier sauce. Nice job Jenn!

Jamie's Minestrone

Reviewed: Feb. 4, 2007
My grocery store was out of baby spinach so I bought a can of canned spinach, drained and squeezed the water out of it, added it but scooped most of it out, I was terribly afraid it would wreck my soup. This soup was awesome. Added my pasta at the end to cook in the broth. I would have added more kidney beans.

Banana Cake VI

Reviewed: Feb. 4, 2007
This cake is great! I save all my over ripe bananas in the freezer and when its time to make this cake, I'm all set. I make it and cut it up and freeze it in individual servings. When my sweet tooth kicks in, I'm all set! A family favorite.

French Buttercream Frosting

Reviewed: Jan. 15, 2005
My boyfriend and I went to a bridal show and sampled a cake with frosting similar to this, by far the best bakery at the show. This is the only frosting I make now, thank goodness I have a stand mixer! It freezes very well.

I've shared this recipe with two friends who rave over it as well. Easy and looks elegant on the plate.

Absolutely Ultimate Potato Soup

Reviewed: Jan. 12, 2005
Yum! This was great soup, made it while I was on a conference call, so its easy too. I used half and half and just a little more flour and dried cilantro because I didn't have fresh.
