Texas Caviar with Avocado

Reviewed: Jan. 5, 2008
I like black eyed peas and if you do also, you will like this dip/or rather salsa. It was not the hit I hoped for at my New Years party but I think it is because black eyed peas are an acquired taste. This recipe is delicious though, and I ate it up.

Reviewed: Nov. 27, 2007
I am dying to make this recipe and I already know from my other lasagna recipe that the secret ingredient is the spaghetti sauce mix- just delicious. But alas I have been to four grocery stores and cannot find this anywhere-I used to buy Spatini. Help anyone!!

Absolutely delicious and so colorful, & healthy. I use whatever color pepper I have on hand. Make a little more dressing to be sure to coat well. Makes ALOT, so good to feed a big crowd. Thanks for sharing.

Took to picnic and brought alot of it home. This was ok but did not have the crowd pleasing factor I thought it would have. Makes ALOT though.

Good, but not as much lemon flavor as I expected. Will try with olive oil next and see if better.

Superb! I 3x the coffee and it darkens the muffins, but you can really taste the coffee. I split the sugar & used 3/4c white and 1/2c brown. I used mini chips and made mini muffins and easily got over 36. Very moist and yummy. Thanks for sharing!

Tasty and the family liked it. I also added a little cheddar cheese to the sauce which makes it more rich and thick. A good weekday, comfort food dinner.

Pumpkin Muffins II

Would have given 5 stars but changed amounts of spices and oil and still an awesome recipe. Can use 15 oz canned pumpkin instead, 1 1/2 c. sugar plenty, 1 1/2tsp. cloves, 1tsp. nutmeg, and slightly more than 1/3 oil. Everyone liked these.

Steak Tip Marinade

Reviewed: Oct. 16, 2006
A great marinade. I was going to give it 5 stars but think you could slightly reduce the BBQ sauce so it won't overpower the other ingredients. I will make again with reduced BBQ sauce. I agree to let the meat marinate overnight, if possible, or you can freeze your meat in it, cook it later.

Very quick and easy. I think you need much less lettuce; I only used two large leaves. 8-10 kalamata olives are also good.

Leftover Turkey Casserole

I would have given this 5 stars except I made modifications as suggested by others. Use only one can soup, double amount of stuffing, 1/2 sour cream and 2-3T. onion soup mix. I used chopped fresh broccoli- delicious! Superb taste and everyone ate it up at my home. Thanks for sharing! Will make again.

Absolutely Fabulous Greek/House Dressing

i found this recipe to be tasty but strong on the vinegar. I would either reduce the vinegar, or do what I did and add some more olive oil to suit your taste.
