About this Cook
I am 28 years old. I am a single mom of 2 great kids, Madalynn is 5 and Ayden is 22 months. I started to experiment with cooking about 4 years ago and found out I am actually pretty good at it. Both my kids like to help in the kitchen, especially my 5 year old.
My favorite things to cook
I love pasta! I also love to grill. Now that we have moved to Texas I can grill even more and I love it.
My favorite family cooking traditions
Every year during Christmas my mom and I make a bunch of different kinds of sweets. All the kids, including my own now, decorate cookies. It's so much fun and a great family time for me.
My cooking triumphs
For Christmas dinner I made my first big family holiday dinner for 20 people! Everyone raved all day long about how good it was. I even made all my desserts from scratch. My in-laws were impressed for the first time ever!
My cooking tragedies
It doesn't matter how hard I try, I can always screw up mac and cheese. It is the easiest thing in the world, but if I try to make it homemade it never turns out.

German Currywurst
I spent a summer in Germany and this is the closest thing I've found to currywurst since I left. Thanks for reviving those memories!!!

Best Marinara Sauce Yet
This recipe is a good base, I add my own kicks to it and it makes a perfect sauce.

Slow Cooker Adobo Chicken
This is a very good recipe. I add chicken broth and make sure the chicken is completely covered and it falls off the bone every time.
