We thought this was excellent. I don't usually make breakfast casseroles, but this sounded good & easy! I cut the hash browns in half and used a bag (20 0z)of Simply Potatoes Southwestern Hasbrowns, which was enough to cover the bottom of the dish. Increased the eggs to 9 (or 10) and doubled the milk. I like lots of flavor, but didn't think it was necessary to add onion & garlic powder, especially since the recipe calls for (real) onion. I did however use salt & pepper and our spicy pork sausage. I didn't layer the cheese, I just poured it all on top to cover the casserole. So yummy and can't wait for the convenience of having it as leftovers during the week. Anything to make the morinings easier while I'm trying to get the kiddies off to school!
