Skillet Ham, Cabbage and Potatoes

Reviewed: Nov. 9, 2008
Excellent!! It does taste better with kielbasa sausage instead of ham. I tried both the first time I made it. I used turkey kielbasa from butterball and it just gave it more flavor.

Country Fried Steak and Milk Gravy

Reviewed: Jul. 30, 2008
Great recipe! Instead of dredging in flour a second time I used Italian seasoned bread crumbs. And I fried it in some butter and oil, although the butter was probably not necessary. We all loved it.

Asian Orange Chicken

Excellent! Just as good, if not better, than you would find at a restaurant. So easy to make too.

Pistachio Crusted Chicken

Reviewed: Jun. 28, 2008
Very good and easy to put together. Will definitely make again. I was the only one who liked the raspberry sauce though. Served with roasted red potatoes and corn on the cob.

WOW!! We just got done eating this for dinner and it was fantastic! My husband and two year old loved it as well. So easy to make! I did add a few items...I added some dry bread crumbs to the meat and mixed red bell pepper and onions wirh the green pepper. You've gotta try this one!

Fruit Pizza I

Reviewed: Apr. 28, 2008
This was simple to make and very pretty! I will definitely make again, however; I thought the ingredients didn't blend very well. It's just cream cheese icing on a sugar cookie with fruit as a topping.

Buffalo Style Chicken Pizza

Reviewed: Feb. 23, 2008
I really like my wings with blue cheese dressing, but the blue cheese on the pizza wasn't so great. It was good and did taste like wings, but the dressing was so overpowering that I will use ranch next time.

Delicious! I love this recipe. I add tomatoes to the salsa verde and I use half corn tortillas for my husband and half flour tortillas for me!

Best Lemonade Ever

Reviewed: Jan. 10, 2008
It truly is the best lemonade! You can also use this to make orangeade as well!!! Just make the sugar water as stated in the recipe (although, I don't bring it to a boil, sugar dissolves in cold water too) and I add fresh squeezed orange juice (OJ from a carton doesn't taste the same) to each individual glass. 1/2 orange for 1 cup of sugar water then I add a couple of maraschino cherries and some of its juice for color. AMAZING!!

Four Cheese Macaroni

Reviewed: Jan. 10, 2008
Excellent. Made a couple of substitutions. Used milk instead of half and half and Colby/Jack, sharp cheddar & Velveeta (no muenster). I did melt the butter & Velveeta together in a pan, then I added the milk, egg, salt & pepper. Tossed in the macaroni and shredded cheese (I ended up dumping some more shredded cheese in the pan), mixed it all up and baked for about 15 min, which was plenty of time. It was the best ever! No more boxed mac & cheese!

Made these cookies tonight and they aren't gonna make it through the night! Very good and soooo simple to make. I made them with homemade blackberry preserves and sprinkled powdered sugar on them once they cooled.

Blackberry Cobbler II

Reviewed: Jul. 14, 2007
It was good, but not enough dough. It doesn't spead, it just kinda stays the way it is when you drop it raw in the fruit. So definitely double the dough, because that is the best part!

Triple Berry Crisp

Reviewed: Jul. 14, 2007
The crumb mixture was so delicious. Great flavor! The only bad thing I didn't realize is that it calls for THREE sticks of butter!! YIKES!! Next time I will try cutting that in half.

Strawberry Cake II

Reviewed: May 14, 2007
Didn't really care too much for this cake. It was way too heavy, but the flavor was good. My husband loved it though. I figure if I'm gonna cheat and use a packaged cake mix I will just follow the directions on the box and just add the jello powder and strawberries next time.
