Steak Tip Marinade

Reviewed: Apr. 21, 2011
Favorite! This recipe reminds me SO MUCH of a place I used to purchase tips from in Medord, MA (Bob's on Main St.). This marinade makes the most tender tips from a very inexpensive cut of meat. Great with rice pilaf and a spring mix salad!

Swedish Spareribs

Reviewed: Mar. 21, 2011
Wow! This recipe is truly tasty and the ribs are incredibly moist! After the ribs were done I tin foil- tented them for a few minutes while I made a gravy out of the beef broth, then served it over long grain white rice. Beautiful!

Easy and Delicious Chicken

Reviewed: Feb. 11, 2011
I've tried this recipe twice now. The first time exactly as written which is my four star rating. The second time I tried to cut back on the calories using greek yogurt instead of cream cheese. To use the yogurt, place it in cheesecloth over a strainer in your fridge for 2hrs. or more. If you do not have cheesecloth, use coffee filters! Also, I used Dorot frozen chopped basil which comes in little trays to be used in sauces as needed. (It gives the fresh taste of basil!) I give my version a four star, too :)

Real Italian Calzones

Reviewed: Jan. 18, 2011
If you want cheddar in your calzone, put it in there - cheddar is just a suggestion! Just a quick tip: Heat your oven to 200 degrees while you're preparing the dough then shut the oven off. Cover your prepared dough with a damp towel and place it in the oven on/in a bake-safe container for the time directed.

Mahogany Chicken Wings

Reviewed: Dec. 20, 2010
I marinated, baked, then refrigerated the wings the day before I planned to serve them and they were just as delicious "cold." To baste I simply turned over the wings every 15 minutes while baking them but would like to see if basting with pure soy sauce as per the recipe would make a big difference next time. The wings are very much like my mom used to make - thank you for posting!

Cinnamon Pork Tenderloin

Reviewed: Dec. 20, 2010
Made two of these for a party and every bit of it was gone before I had a chance to grab a plate! One would think the cinnamon might be overwhelming but all of the flavors melded together perfectly. Remember to let the meat rest at least 10 minutes before cutting it to let the juices redistribute - it's worth the wait!

Pizza On The Grill I

Reviewed: Jul. 17, 2008
Amazing! This pizza will make you want to never eat frozen or oven baked again! I made mine with 2 cups of flour and 1 1/2 cups of bread flour to make the dough a little more *sturdy* for some of the heavier toppings and it worked beautifully! We made individual pizzas for everyone, including my fav - red sauce, boiled chicken, garlic, feta & japaleno :) deeelish!

Marinated Turkey Breast

Reviewed: Dec. 27, 2007
My fiancce & I decided to have Christmas alone this year so we fired up the grill and LOVED this recipe! I didn't have whole cloves on hand so I used ground cloves and mixed it with the other ingredients - worked perfectly! If your grill tends to get too hot or juices from the turkey sparks flames in the grill, try propping the lid open a small amount with a SAFE pair of tongs to allow a little air in - it will not dry out the turkey. Thanks for sharing this recipe!

Children's Gingerbread House

Reviewed: Dec. 27, 2007
This is a really great recipe. Time consuming but well worth your efforts! I had to use bread flour but if you're not going to eat the house after you build it, it works just fine. (Remember to use 2 tablespoons less per cup if you have to use bread flour!)
