Chicken Fajita Marinade

Reviewed: Jun. 12, 2010
I actually thought this was pretty tasty and easy. I grilled my chicken and thinly sliced. I didn't have lime juice, so I just put in Bud Light Lime for the beer and lime juice portions...LOL...and it turned out tasting just fine! Next time I will try with actual lime juice, but I would definitely make this again. Thanks!

Zesty Slow Cooker Chicken Barbecue

Reviewed: Jan. 24, 2010
This was really good and easy. Used fresh (not frozen) chicken breasts and simply shredded and served on buns or alone. Would definitely make again.

Crispy Baked Chicken

In my opinion, this was nothing special. It was okay, but nothing noteworthy.

Easy Ice Cream Cake

Reviewed: Jul. 13, 2008
I would give this 5 stars for ease and 4 stars for taste. I actually did something a little different for the cool whip...I mixed 16 oz. cool whip with two-thirds to three-fourths of a carton of 1/2 gallon of vanilla ice cream by mixing it in an electric mixer (obviously, let the ice cream and cool whip soften before you do this). I used this cool whip/ice cream mixture in place of the 100% cool whip and it worked quite well and tasted quite good. To add some flavor and color, I crushed up some Butterfingers and sprinkled them in between the ice cream sandwich layers. I did put some caramel topping on that layer as well, but I think I could have left it off just as easily. This definitely required 24 ice cream sandwiches and I used an aluminum roaster pan as you really need the depth (a normal 9x12 will be too shallow), and this was the perfect size for it all. The layering looked really nice when it is cut into. Like other posters, you do need to work relatively fast due to melting! I topped mine off with shaved chocolate bar, but could have also sprinkled it with some leftover crushed Butterfingers...make sure you sprinkle it with these topping just after you make it so it can "set" in the "icing" in the freezer.

Marinated Pork Tenderloin

Reviewed: Jul. 12, 2008
This was just okay for me. I, too, doubled the recipe and like other posters should have only put half the cinnamon as it was too sweet for me. I also added about 2 tbsp. of vinegar as it smelled so overly sweet after I made it, but I don't think this affected the overall taste one way or another. Probably won't make again as it wasn't my favorite, but just okay.

Glazed Meatloaf II

Reviewed: Jan. 27, 2008
Sorry, but I didn't think this deserved the rave review it has been getting. While the meat was moist enough, I didn't care for the flavor and was quite frankly, underwhelmed. I won't make this one again.

Golden Pork Chops

Reviewed: Sep. 6, 2007
I made it for my husband and left it for him to cook (sorry, but I went out and didn't try it) and he said he really liked it, but the pork chops were a little tough. Next time I would cook in a covered skillet on the stovetop instead. Thanks for the recipe!

Molten Chocolate Cakes With Sugar-Coated Raspberries

Reviewed: Jul. 5, 2006
These were really easy and very good! They are like mini chocolate souffles. I made them in small ramekins, and they seemed to come out fairly nicely if you spray them with cooking spray, allow to cool slightly (3-5 mins) and run a knife all the way down the sides to the bottom and turn over. For what it's worth, my husband actually thought they were just as good as the souffle at his favorite Atlanta fine dining restaurant! I would definitely make this again.

Award Winning Soft Chocolate Chip Cookies

Reviewed: Oct. 27, 2005
These were good and did come out looking just like the picture posted and were very soft. I don't see them being "award winning", as I think I have had ones that I like better. I don't know if I would make again, but I thought they were pretty good overall.

Angel Chicken Pasta

Reviewed: Oct. 27, 2005
This was pretty good, but a little too rich for my liking. My husband liked it better than me. Many reviews raved over the sauce which was good, but again, a little to rich for me. Overall it was very easy to make and was good, don't know if I will make it again, though.

World's Best Lasagna

This reciped did not wow me at all. It was definitely better when reheated the next day, but I will keep my old lasagna recipe as this one did not meet up to the hype in the reviews.

Chocolate Trifle

Reviewed: Jul. 3, 2005
I had made something very similar to this before without the sweetened condensed milk, but I believe I like this recipe better. It was not too sweet to me at all, as some reviewers thought it was too sweet so I was a little skeptical...it was very yummy! I did add some bits of brickle on top of the pudding layer for some crunch and used 4 cups whipping cream whipped with 1 cup powdered sugar in place of the cool whip. I would definitely make again!

Tangy Chicken Fajitas

Reviewed: May 12, 2005
Pretty good and fairly easy, although I marinated the chicken for 24 hours...my mistake, instead of 3-6, and it came out too tangy!

Chicken Savoy

Reviewed: Apr. 24, 2005
This was okay, but I would not make it again. From all the reviews, I thought it would be great, but my husband and I were disappointed. I don't think it was too overpowering as some of the reviews had stated, but it just didn't strike me as anything spectacular.

Chicken Breasts Pierre

Reviewed: Mar. 23, 2005
I have made this a number of times and my husband actually requests this as he really likes it. I do, however, put the stewed tomatoes in a food processor and chop them up completely as we are not big tomato fans in our house! This is actually one of the few recipes on this site that I actuallymake time and time again and have put into my "rotation" so to speak.

Creamy Chicken Lasagna

Reviewed: Jan. 12, 2005
It was okay, but it wasn't worthy of five stars. I agree with the person that posted if they had the ingredients and wanted to get rid of them you could make this, but I am not clammoring to make this again anytime soon.

Irish Cream Bundt Cake

Reviewed: Jan. 9, 2005
This was a very good cake, however I have a recipe that I also make that is almost identical to this one. The only difference is substituting brickle chips in place of the Irish Cream, and adding no glaze. Both are very tasty!
