I have made a very similiar recipe for years. I read the comments about it being rubbery. I have found if I make this with sugar-free instant I get this texture. I don't think it has anything to do with the sour cream and therefore it could be made with fat free sour cream. I use chunk pineapple for one of the fruits for dipping an use the juice from the pineapple to get the right dipping texture.

Frijoles II

I LOVE Frijoles..but had no idea how to make them. Didn't look at the comments..so didn't know I had to soak the beans...I will give them a 1 star for a nice smell in the house.....

Like mentioned before these are ingredients I keep in the house...we serve it cold, with onions, peppers, and 1/2 with black olives, 1/2 without..so easy....

Spiced Apples

These are so yummy! And they are so pretty too! Good especially for Valentines Day or Christmas....the trick is finding the "litle red heart" candy at times other than Valentines Day. I stock up on them right after Valentines DAy,
