I have been married for 24 yrs. and have 2 boys ages 23 & 18. I have always loved to cook and now that one has moved out and the other is never here I miss not cooking like I used to.
My favorite things to cook
I love to cook main meals. I'm not huge on baking but I do enjoy it sometimes.

Pretty simple and traditional...nothing fancy
My cooking triumphs
I've come a long way since I got married. I never cooked when I lived at home. I love my mother's cooking but I was a tomboy and would rather be out playing kick ball, etc. When I got married I had to learn pretty quick...with the help of my mother and my mother in law.
My cooking tragedies
I don't know that I have had any so called "tragedies" but I have had a lot of disappointments. But I get over it and try again. But that's how you learn. Nobody is perfect!!

Fresh Salsa
This is the best salsa recipe I've made. I didn't have the cumin so I'm sure that will make it even better.

Extreme Banana Nut Bread 'EBNB'
Wow! This is wonderful! The smell in my house was so warm and inviting not to mention the flavor. After eating it, the flavor just kind of stays in your mouth. It's so comforting!! My oven is pretty new so it cooks fast. I cooked it at 350 for 30 min. and then 325 for 30 min. The top got pretty brown but it's perfect!! Thanks for the easy and delicious recipe!

Clemons Family Bean Dip
This is a fantastic recipe!! So easy to make the flavor is absolutely spectacular. I will definitely make it again and again. I put it in the crock pot after I melted it all together and it was great. It's also great reheated a day or two later. Yummy! Thanks for the recipe!
