Picante Chicken Rice Burritos

This was ok - not a hit with my family, but they're very "meat and potatos". I made exactly as directed, except I added a can of rinsed black beans, but it was a little too dry for my taste. Flavor and textures were good tho. I probably won't make again, just because of my picky family.

Cube Steak Parmesan

This was not a hit at our house tonight. I followed other reviewers suggestions and baked, covered with foil, for an hour, but the meat was still not tender and the flavor was not great. I was asked not to make this again. Sorry..

Honey Butter Yule Ham

This was by far the best ham I've ever made. I used an injector, like some other reviewers suggested and the result was fantastic! I doubt I'll ever make ham any other way from now on. Thanks a bunch!!

Hearty Tuna Casserole

We did not like this much at all. I made the recipe exactly as written, except for the zuccini - I didn't have any, so I added peas instead. It was ok at first, but both myself and my daughter were a little queasy afterward and my husband wouldn't even touch it. It looked appealing, but just didn't cut it for us. Thanks anyway.

Triple Dipped Fried Chicken

This was ok. While I was impressed with the batter, the chicken itself didn't taste very good. My husband said it was boring and my 6 yo ate only half of one drumstick. I might try the batter with chopped steaks, but probably won't use with chicken again. Thanks anyway.

Cinnamon Rolls II

I wasn't very happy with this recipe. I followed to the "T", but will make changes IF I decide to try again. The size of the dough when rolled was too thick, which meant, when all the sugar was piled on, it was very difficult to roll tightly and thus all my sugar fell out all over the counter and into the pan. I tried the overnight method, but it took WAY more than an hour for the dough to rise, so we ended up having rolls for lunch, rather than breakfast, which was annoying. Finally, the sugar that I managed to keep in the dough, basically fell out as the dough settled, so all the flavor was stuck to the bottom of the pan. The icing was not very flavorful and while this was edible, it was not enjoyable. I think I'll either go back to the way I made them before or look for a new recipe.

Roast Sticky Chicken-Rotisserie Style

This was WONDERFUL! My husband even complimented me on it, which is a rarety. I only did one 4 lb chicken, and marinated it for 2 days in the fridge. You could smell it after an hour or so in the oven, and everyone was "ready to eat" when it was done. Used leftovers for soup. Very good recipe - I wouldn't change a thing. Update-12/07: I doubled the seasoning recipe and used this for my Christmas turkey - the flavor was very good. I just wish I was brave enough to slow roast it like the chicken!

Creamy Banana Bread

I made this recipe today because it sounded wonderful! After reading the reviews, and before baking, I decided to follow other reviewers recommendation and added more banana to enhance the flavor. Unfortunately, that didn't help and what I ended up with was edible, but bland and pretty boring. I will continue to look for other recipes and will not be making this again.

Overnight Cinnamon Rolls I

I found this dough hard to work with - it was a bit too wet. After rolling, I added some butter, then the sugar and cinnamon, but it didn't roll up well, and when I cut it, the dough stuck to the knife and flattened the rolls out. They didn't fare well overnight. They did rise nicely in the oven, but because of the consistency of the dough, the butter, sugar and cinnamon had slid to the bottom of the pan and pretty much evaporated during baking. I ended up with frosted bread. Pretty disappointing - I'll keep looking for another recipe.
