Marinated Grilled Shrimp

Reviewed: Aug. 19, 2014
EXCELLENT....EVERYONE RAVED ABOUT THEM AND WE HAD THEM AS AN APPETIZER. I had 42 jumbo shrimp which I skewered first, put the shrimp and sauce in a ziplock to take to a party, which were then cooked on a gas grill about 5 mins per side. They were marinated about 2hrs before they were cooked. I did use chili sauce instead of just tomato sauce and lots of fresh basil.

Holiday Chicken Salad

Reviewed: Dec. 27, 2011
I made this recipe using 1/2 amount each of dried cherries and dried cranberries plumped for 15 min in hot water and drained on paper towel. I did not use green pepper as I didn't have any. I prbly used a little more mayo as I had more than 4 cups chicken in the end, but very good recipe. Everyone loved it !!

Stuffed Artichoke Hearts

Reviewed: Dec. 27, 2011
I just made these for my Christmas Eve buffet table and the last one had to be cut 4 ways as people were fighting over them!! They were FANTASTIC !! The hardest part was finding the bottoms which I did in the 3rd grocery store I went to. There were 6 bottoms in each can, so the 3 cans were perfect for the amount of filling. I baked them about 3 hrs before use, covered with foil and set on stove as I had other things to put in my small oven. Then just re-heated for 10 mins when the guests arrived. They don't need to be really hot to enjoy. The ONLY change I made was a little more chives as I love chives. Thanks for my new appetizer recipe Jackie!!!

Blueberry Cream Muffins

I have made these twice and they always come out wonderful. I am not a" baker person, never give me something to knead", but I can make these with no problem. People at my church loved these both times , not dry, very tasty. Followed the recipe exactly.

Michigan Cherry Drops

Reviewed: Dec. 1, 2006
THESE WERE A HIT ON OUR CHIRSTMAS COOKIE PLATTERS THAT WE MAKE IN OUR CHURCH FOR THE WOMENS FESTIVAL. I MADE THEM WITH A 2 tsp. SCOUP AND MADE SOME LARGER COOKIES FOR OUR OWN HOUSEHOLD. I THOUGHT THE SINGLE RECIPE MADE A LOT OF "DROPS" Have had several requests for the recipe so thanks for a "PRETTY GOOD COOKIE"
