Slow Cooker Chicken and Dumplings

Reviewed: Apr. 26, 2008
This was sooooo easy. My family loves it. I'm a dumpling freak and these biscuits cooked perfectly in the crock pot. I was a bit skeptical at first thinking they were going to turn out too doughy but they didn't. They were perfect. Well make this again for sure. Thankas

Pork Chops for the Slow Cooker

Reviewed: Jan. 19, 2008
I didn't care for this very much. It seemed a bit bland and the chops were very dry. My family seemed to like it more than I did. Sorry but I won't be making this again without adding a serious amount of seasoning.

Cannoli Pie

Reviewed: Jan. 8, 2008
My son had a project due in school and needed something from his heritage. We decided on the cannoli pie. IT WAS AWESOME!!! I did use the recommendation of other people and i beat the sugar and the ricotta cheese together with a mixer. It did take the lumps out and made for a creamier filling. I did add a bit more sugar though. Not much. I also loaded it with choc chips. We loved it and my son said all his classmates loved it as. Now i'm going to make it for us at home.

Pecan Chicken Breasts Stuffed with Cream Cheese and Broccoli

Reviewed: Jan. 8, 2008
My whole family loved this. It was a bit time consuming but worth it. I skipped the frying part and just baked it instead for about 50 minutes. I doubled the stuffing and during the last 20 minutes of baking I put big dollops of the stuffing right on top of the breasts. We aren't big fans of broccoli so I used frozen spinach instead. It was awesome. I will definatly make this again but on a day when I have a little more time to spare.

Walnut-Cheese Spinach Salad

Reviewed: May 18, 2007
Awesome. The dressing was great. I used frozen berries instead of fresh because that's what I had on hand. It still turned out great, I love Feta cheese and the walnuts gave it a nice crunch. I will be using this again. Thanks

Slow Cooker London Broil

Reviewed: Apr. 13, 2007
I made this dish last night. I get tired of the same old London Broil. It was really good. I did add 2 cans of tomato soup instead of one and about a cup of water. The meat just fell apart like shredded corn beef. Yum.I aslo added a can of green beans at the end of cooking. I served it over rice. It was really yummy and will I will most certainly make again. Thanks.

Texas Hash

Reviewed: Apr. 5, 2007
Awesome. My husband and I just loved this. My oldest son hated it because there was corn in it but my little guy loved it. I did omit the chili powder because we don't care for spicy. I added garlic powder, basil, and oregano.I also added a 28oz can of tomato sauce because i thought it would be too dry after baking it. I was glad I did because it turned out perfect. I will definately make this again.

Shrimp Scampi III

Reviewed: Mar. 28, 2007
Awesome. I used chopped garlic from the jars you get in the produce section. I didn't remove it because we all like garlic. I took some advice and doubled the sauce and put the bread crumbs in slowly until I was happy with the consistency. I really liked how the bread crumbs thickened up the sauce. That way it actually clung to the pasta. Great recipe. Will make again.

Apple Stuffed Pork Chops

Reviewed: Jan. 29, 2005
Didn't like this very much. I followed the advice of other reviews and added some apple sauce and apple juice to make it moister but the stuffing came out like mush. The flavor was great but the texture was terrible. Probably won't make this again. Sorry
