Buttery Soft Pretzels
these pretzels are really good. just make sure theyre actually cooked before u take them out cuz they seem cooked, but they're still raw on the insides. you ahve to put it for longer than the recipe says, but everyones ovens different right? overall, its a great recipe

Mrs. Sigg's Snickerdoodles
REALLY GOOD!!! these are great. i made then twice and they jut fill the kitchen with this wonderful smell (and fill ur mouth w/ a wonderful taste later on ) just please, for your own sake, dont think ur smarter than baking soda. the 2nd time i made it, well lets just say the baking soda wasnt coming out so i tipped it a bit and the spoon kina hit the box and POOF! baking soda delight. i took most of it out, and didnt think much abt it cuz the dough tasted fine (i eat raw dough :P) BUT THEN....lo and behold. it came out of the oven fresh, hot. i pick one up and its sooo good, then suddenly im like YUCK!! the middle/after taste is horrible. they stayed in the cookie jar for months and served as good pranks for ppl. my cousni actually liked them and finished his cookie. but yeah. these are great!

this recipe is a no fail recipe. what ever tools you have, it works perfectly. if u use a pastry blender, fork, food processor, or even your hand, you'll get good results. you can substitute the shortening with butter and it works great. i like the fact that you dont have to freeze it, but if you want to, it tastes just as great!
