Streusel Rhubarb Bread

Reviewed: Jan. 6, 2012
Everyone loved this bread. Easy to make and so delicious. Only change I made was to use brown and white sugar in the topping and added a little more butter to topping mixture.

INCREDIBLE Raspberry Cheesecake Cookies

Reviewed: Dec. 8, 2011
These are very good. Everyone at work loved them and made them for a get-together and the cookies were raved about. Also had to order raspberry chips online. I added mini chocolate chips and for Christmas, I chopped up some green M&Ms to add to give the red and green colors for the holidays

Apple Bread

Reviewed: Oct. 15, 2011
Awesome bread! My hubby said it is the best bread he's ever had. Only changes I made were to add some applesauce as other reviewers had said, and to add a streusel topping. Also had to bake breads about 10 mins. longer.

Knoephla, Potatoes and Sauerkraut

Reviewed: Oct. 14, 2011
I've been looking for a recipe like this. It tastes a lot like what my german Grandmother, Mom, and aunt used to make. I pretty much made the recipe as written, just halfed it for just my husband and I. My husband, who is not a sauerkraut lover, even liked it quite a bit! Love it, will be making again soon. Thanks for a great recipe!

Old Fashioned Peach Cobbler

Reviewed: Jun. 8, 2009
I HAVE BEEN LOOKING FOR A GREAT PEACH COBBLER RECIPE WITH THE TWO CRUSTS AND I FOUND IT! THIS IS AWESOME. I TOOK SOME OF THE OTHER SUGGESTIONS AND ADDED 3 TBS. OF CORNSTARCH INSTEAD OF ONE. USED 2 POUNDS OF FROZEN PEACHES AND ONE CAN OF PEACHES AND USED THE PEACH JUICE FROM THE CANNED INSTEAD OF THE ORANGE JUICE. I FOLLOWED THE RECIPE FOR THE CRUST, BUT AFTER I ROLLED OUT THE DOUGH, IT WAS TOO SOFT TO GET IT OFF THE COUNTER AND INTO THE PAN, SO HAD TO PIECE-MEAL IT INTO THE PAN. ROLLED OUT THE CRUST FOR THE TOP OF THE COBBLER AND HAD TO ALSO PIECE-MEAL IT ON TOP, BUT TURNED OUT GREAT. THANKS SO MUCH FOR THIS EXCELLENT RECIPE!

Steff's Shepherd Pie

Reviewed: May 9, 2009
I made this tonight for dinner and it was a big hit with my hubby. He said it is now one of his favorite dishes. I used ground turkey and added about 3/4 of a packet of dry onion soup mix to the meat as it was cooking and also added mixed veggies instead of just green beans. I did not have cream of mushroom soup so used cream of chicken instead and used instant garlic flavored mashed potatoes. It turned out grrreat! Thanks for this easy, delicious recipe. Will definately be making this again soon.

Creamy Potato Leek Soup II

Reviewed: Jan. 27, 2009
Awesome, delicious soup. I pureed some of the potaotes in a blender when well cooked and added them back to the soup pot. Made a nice creamy, thick texture. Also added some garlic to the leeks when cooking them. I used turkey bacon and FF half and half, turned out great!

Chocolate Frozen Yogurt

Reviewed: Jun. 17, 2005
This is the first recipe I tried with my electric ice cream maker. I LOVE it. The flavor is fantastic! And it is soo creamy. I also would probably use a little less sugar and add a little more cornstarch as it did take a long time to thicken up when doing the cooked part of the recipe. But it finally did thicken up for me. Thanks for sharing this recipe. It is a winner with me and a definate keeper.
