Very Yummy!!! My squash did seem to disapear and turn to mush, but still tasted great. Next time I will try butternut squash and cook it separately. I must have stirred too much. Loved the kale in this! Will make again!

Yummy. I must have done something wrong because this health food actually tasted wonderful! I subsituted applesauce for the oil per another reviewer's comment and was glad. These are so good and moist. Thanks for posting this one!

Manhattan Clam Chowder II

Reviewed: Apr. 9, 2006
Yummy. I made some changes and ended up with wonderful. I added celery and some hot sauce per other reviewer's comments. I sauted the carrot, onion, & celery. I used chicken broth in place of the water and used unpeeled sliced red potatoes. Finally, I added 1 cup V8 low sodium juice and ommited the salt.

Fried Rice II

Wonderful fried rice starter. I added things I had like leftover pork and left out things I didn't have like bean sprouts. It was a good basic recipie and easy to modify.

Brunch on the Bayou

Terrific!!! I used 6 oz, 2 links, of hot Italian sausage. I think I will use 3 links next time and add bit more red pepper because I like things HOT. Everyone else thought it was perfect. A perfect Christmas tradition.

Black Pepper Beef and Cabbage Stir Fry

Very Good! I left all pepper out of my toddler's bowl and added crushed red pepper flakes to my husband and my dinner. Everyone liked it including the little guy who shoveled it in his face with both hands saying "mmmm".

Mandarin Almond Salad

This is the best salad I ever had. I keep canned oranges on had just in case I feel the urge to make this. The red pepper flakes add a bit of zing without being distracting.

White Bean and Lamb Soup

Reviewed: Sep. 14, 2005
This was so good! The only bad thing about it was I didn't have enough leftovers to last all week. Next time I will make a double batch. I left the feta out of my husband's bowl since he is a feta hater. I thought the feta tasted great in the soup.

Beet Surprise Cake

Reviewed: Aug. 27, 2005
Sounded like a great idea. I have to admit I never frosted the cake. That probably would have made it a bit more tasty, but I don't think cake should need frosting to be edible. Will stick to eating beets as beets.
