About this Cook
I am not afraid to be myself. Basically, I am a bit odd and ok with that.
My favorite things to cook
I love making soup and most stove top items. I don't care too much for baking. I love eating baked goods. Too bad I don't like making them. I prefer to wing it in the kitchen, which doesn't work with baked goods.
My favorite family cooking traditions
My Italian Grandmother always made ravioli for us at Thanksgiving. Yummy.
My cooking triumphs
Learning how to make ravioli from scratch. A full day well spent, and it comes with its own reward at the end RAVIOLI.
My cooking tragedies
I wish I could forget the first batch of cookies that I made. I used salt in place of sugar. I still can't stomach chocholate chip cookies. I guess this is why children need adult supervision in the kitchen.

Winter Vegetable Hash
Very Yummy!!! My squash did seem to disapear and turn to mush, but still tasted great. Next time I will try butternut squash and cook it separately. I must have stirred too much. Loved the kale in this! Will make again!
