Chicken and Turkey Marinade

I doubled the recipe and marinated two whole chickens overnight. I even forgot to turn the bag, and they turned out delicious after roasting. My husband just raved about it. I will definitely be using this again, maybe for Thanksgiving.

No Sour Cream Beef Stroganoff

I thought this was good, not great. I did use low-fat, lower salt cream of mushroom soup. I used 2 lbs. of ground beef, two cans of the soup, a whole 10 oz can of beef broth and 3/4 cup of white wine. I thought it needed some more spice, so I put about a 1 teas of dried thyme in it. However, my husband loved it, so I will make it again. I think I will try red wine next time, perhaps that will go even better with the beef.

Robin's Sweet and Spicy Black Beans

I made this for a barbeque and got raves from my friends. They still request that I make these again! Next time I will try brown sugar instead of white sugar.

Mini Cheesecakes I

I have wanted to make these for a long time and read all of the most helpful reviews before I attempted the recipe. I made them for a girl's get together and everyone loved them! I did add some butter to the crushed Vanilla Wafers to help the crust stick together and that worked nicely. I had to reduce the cooking time to 11 minutes when using the mini muffin tins.

Mango Salsa

I thought this was just okay. I did add garlic, as suggested in other reviews and also added some salt. I thought the recipe was bland, like it needed something. I probably won't make this again.

Black Bean Chili

I made this last night and we loved it. I used diced tomatoes and canned corn like in previous reviews. I didn't have a jalapeno pepper, so used 2 serranos instead. I didn't think this was very spicy, so if you like it spicy, I would add some extry spices. This will be made again in my house!

I actually tried this recipe with chicken, as I had some leftover roasted chicken. It was excellent and my husband loved it too. Very unique flavors. I will be making this again.

Best Spinach Dip Ever

This dip is great and so simple to make. I get requests to bring this to every party I go to. I make it lower fat by using light mayo and sour cream.

Slow Cooker Chicken with Leek Soup Mix

Slow Cooker Mashed Potatoes

I've made these two times now and the last was on Thanksgiving. I plan on doing it again for Christmas. I used a potato ricer to mash the potatoes and it gives it a lot smoother texture than using a standard potatoe masher like I did the first time. I didn't add a lot of the reserved broth and before I put it in the slow cooker, added a bit of rosemary. Before serving, I topped with some fresh chives. They were a big hit. However, when chilled for leftovers they got pretty thick.

Italian-Style Spaghetti Squash

I've never had spaghetti squash before this recipe and it's fantastic! Even my husband, a pasta lover, thinks it's great. Now he doesn't complain about me never fixing pasta.
