A Pad Thai Worth Making

Reviewed: Apr. 30, 2009
Sorry guys, but this is not good. I adjusted this as others suggested...added 1 tbsp tamarind, cut the lime juice in 1/2, made extra sauce...but truthfully, the sauce just isnt pad thai flavored...ended up very limey, spicy and sour. I threw mine out....pad thai should be delicately flavored...this doesnt have the right sugar, the lime overpowers, and the flavors are not the right blend.

Flourless Peanut Butter Cookies

Reviewed: Dec. 9, 2008
These didnt have enough structure for me. I added 1/2 tsp baking soda as another reviewer did, and baked an extra 4 mins. They puffed in the oven, then deflated, then, because they were so thin, I couldnt get them up off the pan without them crumbling. The flavor is also too sweet here.

Crustless Cranberry Pie

Reviewed: Dec. 9, 2008
Wonderful, not too sweet coffee cake. Brought to work, and everyone loved it! I particularly enjoyed the large quantity of tart cranberries, set off by the mildly sweet cake. The only trick, was that mine was difficult to cut and serve from my pie pan. Next time, I will probably use an 8x8 square pan...but other than that, this recipe was a keeper!

Peaches and Cream Pie II

Reviewed: Dec. 29, 2004
WOW! This is the best recipe I have found at AllRecipes...no joke and my favorite one made this Fall. The combination of the Jello filling and fresh peaches absolutely hits the spot. Way to go TARA! I only changed a few things. I doubled the amount of sugar in the crust for a little extra sweetness. And, used more peaches (8 instead of 5). I also liked to just dollop some fresh whip cream on the top as opposed to cool whip. Good eats!

Award Winning Peaches and Cream Pie

Reviewed: Dec. 29, 2004
Horrid! I CANNOT BELIEVE THIS IS RATED 5 stars! I love peaches, but the canned peaches in this do not help the flavor here. Also, the boxed pudding flavor in the crust did not taste correct..very artificial tasting. This might work out better ONLY with freshly home canned peaches or Lady Alberta peaches, but if you're going to go to the trouble, I'd recommend the Peaches and Cream Pie II by Tara instead...which uses fresh peaches and peach jello and you will come out WAAAAY ahead.
