I used to bake wedding cakes. My fingers won't allow it anymore, but, it was very nerve wrecking and fulfilling!
My cooking tragedies
My first pumpkin pie, for thanksgiving. Everything from scratch! Crust, pie filling, everything. I forgot to put any sugar in the pumpkin!!!! My dad being my dad, ate the first bite and said, "crust is really good!". My mom yelled, oh, my God! You forgot the sugar! I could have died!

Potato Skillet
We have been eating this recipe for over 50 years! Lol. Excellent base for everybody's different tastes. You add this or add that, and there you go! Thanks LaDonna for putting it on paper! So to speak! :)

Healthy Pumpkin Cranberry Muffins
Not sure.......I made some subs, applesauce for the oil, all organic whole wheat flour, and, no white sugar. I used all brown sugar. It was ok, but I had made the 100 calorie blueberry muffins 3days ago and they were excellent! I also added flax seed, and nuts. Again, it was ok, but kinda bland. Friday I'm going to make them with less nutmeg or ginger. Something..............I think after the blueberry muffins these were quite the let down. The other muffins were a party in your mouth!

Best 100 Calorie Blueberry Muffins
I love this recipe!!!!!!! I personally found it too sweet, but I have low blood sugar. My daughter is very finicky, and she loved them! She is into all that healthy stuff! Her daughters loved them too! :). I added a little more applesauce and used organic whole wheat flour. Oh, I added more vanilla too. Oh, and I also added nuts to give it texture and flavor! My English teacher from high school would be so disappointed with the sentence structure here!!!!!! Lol!! I am going to leave out about 1/4 of white sugar the next time I make these, by the way! ;) Made these for my mother the way I like them. Not enough sugar for her. So, I made them per recipe, with nuts and flax seed added. She loved them!
