This is great for a teen party, football game, whatever. Looks impressive, but oh-so easy and for some reason has almost no rising time. Leftovers are great for breakfast or sack lunches.

Savory Cheddar Zucchini Muffins

This is one of those great recipes that has it all--it's pretty on the table, extremely nutritious and super versatile. I've added chopped chicken, spinach and artichokes to make it a one dish meal with great results. Thanks for sharing, Kathy.

French Buttercream Frosting

So much to love about this recipe! Fluffy, but rich tasting, goes on beautifully, sets up well when refrigerated. I didn't have butter flavoring so I used almond and it was terrific. Next time I will try cutting the shortening as some others suggested. Thanks for submitting.

Seven-Minute Pudding

Wow. So easy and soooo much better than packaged stuff. I took one reader's suggestion of using a blender and it worked like a charm. No cornstarch lumps at all. I have also done this with splenda and it's still wonderful. This one's a keeper. Thanks!

Spaghetti Pie II

This is a recipe I've made for years, minus the green peppers. I sprinkle parsley in the center of the pie and it's so pretty! My kids love it and I often make it for neighbors, new mothers, etc.

Dinette Cake

This is a small, versatile vanilla cake made with ingredients that are always on hand. Our family is small and we don't really need a big cake so it's perfect for us. I've used for cupcakes and strawberry shortcake, both with great results. While it is very simple, the flavor and texture are distinctly homemade--so much better than a mix, yet just as easy.

Red Velvet Cupcakes

I have to agree with the reviewers who said these cupcakes are a bit dry. One of the best things about red velvet cake is that it is moist and dense. On the up side, cream cheese frosting makes anything taste great!

Garlic Cheddar Chicken

Great everyday recipe. Ready in a flash and you probably have everything in your fridge and pantry. The garlic makes your kitchen smell like heaven--my family swoons when they walk in. I've used Penzey's spices Fox Woods mix instead of the herbs and it's delicious that way too.

Best Steak Marinade in Existence

Annie's Fruit Salsa and Cinnamon Chips

Okay this is one of those recipes that, even if you change the ingredients, remains phenomenal. I used peaches instead of apples and added blueberries and still everybody was crazy about it. The other reviewers are right, though, the sugar is not needed.
