Incredibly Cheesy Turkey Meatloaf

Reviewed: Nov. 16, 2009
I loved the flavor of this meat loaf. I didn't have any italian seasoned bread crumbs so I just used plain panko and added dried oregano and basil...and also some garlic salt because I'm an addict. I also took others advice and added a clove of garlic plus a sprinkle of onion powder. I mixed everything together minus the cheese, meat and ketchup. Once it sat for five minutes I added the turkey and cheese. I tested the flavor first by making a very small patty with the mixture and cooking it up in a frying pan. This way if I don't like it I can doctor it up before cooking the whole meatloaf. No adjustments were needed! I would even enjoy this without the cheese if it were to come to that. But I always have tons of cheese on hand. :)

Great recipe. I also highly recommend buttering and toasting the rolls with cheese.

I found this recipe here last year and have been making it ever since, as is. It's really yummy and I highly recommend it! Great summertime side dish.

Taqueria Style Tacos - Carne Asada

Reviewed: May 5, 2007
This was great and my husband loved it! The onion relish and the sauce really make this meal. I also served it with some quacamole. I purchased two 1.5 lb. flank steaks. We grilled one last night for dinner and will have the other one tonight. Sort of a Cinco de mayo weekend with margaritas and Carne Asada.

Slow-Cooked German Short Ribs

Reviewed: Apr. 29, 2007
While some are saying the ingredients themselves may not "sound German" the overall taste at the end is actually very reminiscant of German cooking. My mother-in-law is German and while she didn't recognize the recipe she did love how it tasted. I served it with spaetzle and red cabbage. Awesome! The best crock pot recipe I've come across in a long time.

Coffeebar Chai

Reviewed: Jan. 20, 2005
This was pretty good. I was out of ground ginger and I did add a dash of white pepper. Something different for a freezing, below zero day in New England!

Simple Artichoke Dip

Reviewed: Jan. 8, 2005
I've been making this dip for years also. It's one of my favorites. I add a sprinkle of garlic salt and definitely use Hellman's. Once time for a change I decided to spread the dip on a Boboli' crust and bake it. I cut it up into small slices. Yummy!

Yummy Taco Salad Dip

Reviewed: Jan. 2, 2005
I've been making this same recipe for years. I add fresh cilantro and just a squeeze of lime juice to the avocado. No one ever asks me to leave this layer out! Then I sprinkle the cheese over the sour cream layer and arrange the vegetables in rows along the top of the cheese. This presentation draws the newbies in. Once they taste it, they are converted! Definitely tastes better well chilled.
