Summer Potato Salad

Great change from the standard potato salad! I did use less lemon after reading other reviews....but the lemon flavor was great! I had many compliments on this dish.

BBQ Pork for Sandwiches

Easy meal that tastes great. I did exactly what the recipe said - except I used almost 2 bottles of sauce..(just my preference). I used one bottle of sweet BBQ sauce and about 3/4 bottle of spicy BBQ sauce.

Absolutely the Best Chocolate Chip Cookies

These were wonderful! Turned out perfect - soft in the middle and cruchy on the outside. These were not "cakey" at all - as some reviews mentioned. I made these exactly as the recipe stated except I used semi-sweet chocolate chips (my personal preference). I baked these on my "Pampered Chef Stoneware" (the only way to bake cookies) - and they were perfect!

Brownie Torte

I have made this recipe twice and delivered it to friends for a special occasion. It looked very professional - and everyone thought it was heavenly! I did have a problem with the torte being perfect in the center - but a little dry toward the edge. I will take the advise of a previous review and try to stir the batter while cooking and see if this helps next time. Wonderful rich, chocolate dessert! Definitely best if kept refrigerated!

Chicken Stir-Fry

This recipe was just "ok". It was quite bland - but probably a good place to start for a stir-fry recipe. Definitely needs more flavor. Chicken was very tender and I liked the way it was cooked with cornstarch. I will look for a different recipe next time.

The Best Rolled Sugar Cookies

These are wonderful!!! A co-worker brought these to work one day and now I'm addicted. These are not too sweet so you can eat way too many!! Also, I like that they are not extremely sweet because they go so well with a sweet glazed frosting.

These were great! I made them for Thanksgiving and received a lot of compliments. I did cook the bacon first and only added about 1/2 of the bacon fat. I also doubled the amount of sauce... Wonderful flavor!!

Fajita Marinade I

Pizza Dough I

Very good pizza crust! I did add 1 tsp italian seasoning and 1 tsp garlic powder after reading some other reviews - but would probably be just fine without it. I let the dough rise 30 minutes before rolling out. Brushing edge of crust with olive oil after baking helps with the presentation of the pizza - and also adds a little more flavor!

Great cookies...they had a perfect consistancy. I followed the recipe exactly, except I added a little salt (for my personal taste). I will definitely makes these again!

Awesome Korean Steak

YUM!! This recipe was wonderful! I didn't have mirin so I used Japanese Plum wine instead. I know this probably wasn't a proper substitute for mirin - but the final product came out great! I did use low sodium soy sauce and also added ginger. Thank you for this recipe....I will definitely be making this again.

Portuguese Sweet Bread I

Wow... This was honestly some of the best bread I have ever eaten! Perfect taste and just the right amount of sweetness. It rose a little too high - ...but I will definitely be making this again - maybe into 2 smaller loaves. I used the dough setting on my bread machine and then baked it in the oven...@ 350 degrees for 30 minutes. I was so glad I did - because I would have had a huge mess in the bread machine after seeing how high the dough actually rose!!!

World's Best Pasta Sauce!

Very good sauce... Only substitutions I made: red wine in place of the water - and used Sweet Italian "turkey" sausage instead of pork sausage. Next time I will try this sauce with the lasagna recipe!

Best Ever Blueberry Cobbler

Very good! I made with blackberries instead of blueberries....because they are my favorite! Crust was good - and didn't turn out too "cake-like"... Not too sweet at all.
