Chocolate Bar Fondue

Reviewed: Mar. 24, 2008
I didn't add the coffee because I didn't want it affect the flavor. I also used high end chocolate chips but next time I will use chocolate bars because it tasted a little like melted chocolate chips (not as good). This is a great basic recipe that even first time fonduers like me can make.

Taco Seasoning I

Reviewed: Jul. 23, 2009
This was great. I used it in a chicken tortilla soup I have made a ton of times and everyone wanted to know what I did to finally perfect the recipe. If I was going to use this seasoning to cook for my son then I would have made it a little spicier.

Asian Salmon

Reviewed: Sep. 3, 2009
This was good, my 5 year old who automatically rejected it liked it once he tried it. I baked for 20 min and broiled for 7 and it was perfect. My only change next time is that I am going to take the leftover marinade and make a sauce to drizzle on top so that the flavor is more dominant, it is more like an accent the way it is. I will also cut down on oil, it definitely did not need 2TB. I made 4 small pieces and the marinate amount was perfect but I will double it when I make the sauce.

Simple Garlic and Basil Pesto

The recipe was awesome and super easy. I used two cloves of garlic and it was a little strong but that was all me and had nothing to do with the recipe :)

Artichoke & Spinach Dip Restaurant Style

Reviewed: Nov. 22, 2009
I had to laugh when I stumbled across this recipe and it's rave reviews. This is basically the same recipe Applebees uses for their Spinach & Artichoke Dip. I worked at one and watch the cooks prep this all the time. Of course it is awesome, everyday hundreds of people order it from us all across the USA. Ironically I was looking for a "fancier" dip recipe but apparently (from the the reviews) this is the way to go. So if you like the Spinach & Artichoke dip from Applebees then this is definitely the recipe for you!

European Fry Sauce

Reviewed: Sep. 22, 2008
A friend of mine serves this sauce with asparagus, I didn't realize it actually had a name. My family calls it green sauce because they will only eat asparagus and artichokes if I make this too. However I don't use the salt, it is great without it.

Thai-Style Peanut Sauce with Honey

Reviewed: May 13, 2010
I made a few minor changes. I used fresh ground peanut butter with no added sugar or salt. I left out the garlic and I used 2tbs.sesame oil and 1tbs olive oil. I threw it all in the blender and it came out great.

Luscious Spinach Artichoke Dip

Reviewed: Mar. 24, 2008
I changed this recipe to make it non-dairy for my family members with milk allergies. I didn't use mayo and instead used more IMO (non-dairy sour cream) and soy cream cheese. I sub. the cheese for soy monterey jack. I also threw everything in the blender to give it a creamy consistency. Then I added a few chunky pieces of artichoke hearts for texture. Everyone LOVED it and even the dairy eaters couldn't tell the difference.

Crab Rangoon III

Reviewed: Dec. 2, 2008
I omitted the crab and water chestnuts, added chopped green onion, and doubled the cream cheese and spices. This made enough filling for about 24 puffs, which was only half the package of wonton wrappers. My family loved them including my four year old and they were gone in minutes. I made the Sweet & Sour Sauce II to go with them but they were just fine plain. Will be making again.

I followed the recipe exactly. I used a jumbo muffin tin and it yielded 4 huge muffins. I had to bake them for 30 minutes and they were perfect. I will be making them again and again.

Luscious Slush Punch

Reviewed: Dec. 31, 2006
Everyone at my toddler's b-day party loved this. I used less sugar as suggested and the only thing I will do different next time is break the frozen juice up into smaller chunks so that it doesn't take as long to blend with the sprite.
