Roasted Salmon with Orange-Ginger Glaze

Reviewed: Oct. 12, 2005
The flavor was present, but very mild for me. I thought I could get the sauce to thicken up, but I failed. Won't be making again.

Meatloaf with Fried Onions and Ranch Seasoning

Reviewed: Oct. 11, 2005
Flavor was very good even though we didn't have the bread stuffing or the fried onions. We added fresh chopped red onion and added a bread crumbs. It was still very flavorful.

Best Chicken Pasta Salad

Reviewed: Oct. 10, 2005
My guests liked it, but I thought it was missing something. I added a little bit of fresh cilantro. Probably won't make it again.

Greek Penne and Chicken

Reviewed: Oct. 6, 2005
This was so good! The suggestions from other cooks made the recipe perfect! Less pasta is better and using crushed or diced can of tomoatoes instead of a tomato makes it more saucy and less dry. Marinated artichoke hearts and lemon zest added great flavor too. I always use a mixture of olive oil and butter for cooking. A keeper in our recipe box!

Restaurant-Style Buffalo Chicken Wings

Reviewed: Oct. 5, 2005
These came out great! I didn't like the 1:1 ratio of butter to sauce so I added two parts sauce. Thanks Kelly!

Goat Cheese and Spinach Turkey Burgers

Reviewed: Sep. 20, 2005
Good Idea! I cut down on the spinach so my burgers wouldn't crumble cause I wanted to cook them on the grill. Added course salt and garlic powder. Had feta in fridge so that is what I used. Drizzled olive oil over it, makes them moist. YUM!

Not bad. Mild fresh taste. Went with the fresh spinach and Shiraz wine. Maybe I will try white wine next time.

It was OK. I think I just prefer steaming asparagus and adding lemon juice.

Salad with Artichokes

Reviewed: Aug. 24, 2005
I liked this salad, but next time I will cut down on the vinegar. It was over powering for me. I want to taste the natural flavor of the artichokes and I couldn't with the strong vinegar flavor.

Grilled Portobello Mushrooms

Reviewed: Aug. 11, 2005
I made this as an app. while camping. I was confused about spreading the mixture on the grill side of the mushroom because I wanted the red pepper to be on them while they cooked. I just dipped them in the oil mixuter and I put pieces of the red pepper on the "gill" side so they would cook up a bit too. Very yummy!

Grilled Sausage with Potatoes and Green Beans

Reviewed: Aug. 11, 2005
Super Duper! Yes, I said it. My SO and I made two different batches because I like spicy and he like sweet sausages. I think mine came out better because the sausage flavors everything. Buy good and flavorful sausage for this recipe. Corn is a bonus! I ate my whole packet and was in complete shock that I ate that much! Thanks Tonya, this is a keeper!

B.L.T. Salad with Basil Mayo Dressing

Reviewed: Jul. 13, 2005
This was soooooo good! Thank you, Kimber! We will eat this a lot! There is no way I would give this anything less because it was a "messy cleanup". I agree the use of 2 skillets is not keeping me away from making this again and again. We used thick sliced bacon from the butcher...The homemade croutons were a plus! :)
