Chicken Cordon Bleu II

Reviewed: Feb. 3, 2006
Something nasty happened to our sauce...maybe bad cream. I don't think I would like the sauce even if it was good. The chicken was good alone with the ham and cheese. Maybe just add what is left in the pan after simmering instead of making the sauce next time. I don't want to waste the yummy wine and mask in cream.

Go Girl Hot Szechwan Chicken

Reviewed: Jan. 27, 2006
I did mine a little different and I like the way it came out. I don't like nuts so I omitted those and I added some all natural hot sauce to give it an extra kick. Yummy and easy. Thanks for the idea!

Awesome Korean Steak

Reviewed: Jan. 6, 2006
We used NY strip and I feel like the marinade ruined a good piece of meat. The soy sauce was too strong.

Yummy! I don't think I will make burgers any other way. Skipped the bacon, but added chopped shallot into the burger.

Lemonade Pork Chops

Reviewed: Jan. 5, 2006
These chops came out tasty. If you are worried about the taste of lemon with your pork chops, we didn't experience that. It just add some sweetest to the soyness. Thanks!

Key West Marinated Chicken

Reviewed: Jan. 4, 2006
I really liked the flavor...and there is a lot of flavor. I think I will add lemon zest next time to give it that fresh taste. Our chicken was very very juicy, but that is dependent on how you cooked it. We used an indoor grill and look foward to trying it on the outdoor.

Italian Sausage, Peppers, and Onions

Good recipe. We ate some peppers and onions out of the skillet an hour after our meal was finished and the flavors seemed like they combined more.

Ginger Steak

The sauce didn't add enough flavor for me. Will double next time. Used a cast iron to broil and the meat came out great. Good idea, Thanks!

Something about it wasn't right. I think it was just personal taste. Won't make this again.

Artichoke Bruschetta

Reviewed: Nov. 15, 2005
Yum! This was very good. I love garlic so I rubbed a clove on each piece of bread before adding the topping. I also only used 3 Tb. of mayonnaise. Five Tb. scared me.

Roasted Garlic Bread

This is so good! I ate more of the bread than I did the main course. Next time I want to try and add a little shredded mozzarella before broiling. Thank you!

Emily's Famous Hash Browns

Reviewed: Oct. 25, 2005
I thought it was weird that this recipe has so many different reviews, but this just wasn't good to us. I thought the flour and egg were fine (used less flour than recipe), but it was the oil. After the hash browns sat out on the paper towel they were still very oily. Maybe we will try MISSCATIAS suggestion of cooking them with no oil.

Rich and Creamy Tomato Basil Soup

Reviewed: Oct. 17, 2005
So fresh tasting with the tomatoes and basil, but something that I can only cook once in a blue moon. The amount of butter and whipping cream is a little overwhelming for my system. So GOOD though...
