Amazing Mussels

Wicked good! Yes, I said it! We halved it and I was a whimp about putting 1/2 of each pepper, but next time I won't be a whimp. Make sure you have lots of bread for sopping!!! THANK YOU!

Marinade for Steak I

We marinated ours for 2 days and it was very juicy and flavorful. I only had 1/4 c. of soy sauce so I added 1/4 c. terriyaki. Yum!

Creamy Chicken With Pasta and Broccoli

I liked this, but there is something missing. Next time we are going to replace the water with white wine or chicken stock. Looking foward to it... Update-used Pinot Grigio instead of water and it helped a lot with flavor. I had no cream cheese so used sour cream instead.

Open-Faced Omelet

We liked this...the basil adds great flavor and you can change the type of vegetables too. I want to try spinach and mushrooms next time. We did add the tomatoes earlier than written so they would cook up a little. We also added two more eggs.

Good stuff...I like the idea about using taco meat too...we will try that. I mixed mayo, bacon grease, white wine vingar and basil in a small bowl and used it as the spread...I need my mayo. Thanks!!

This was good and easy. I might add potatoes and/or carrots next time like others suggested. And it is more soupy than stewy, but that didn't take away from the taste. I did add hot sauce because I like it more spicy than sweet. Thanks!!

Montreal Peppered Steak

SAL-TY first time and then I tweaked the marinade the second and it was much better. Used 1/8c soy sauce, 1/8 Worcestershire sauce and 3T seasoning. Less salty, but still very flavorful. Still might add less seasoning...I know the seasoning is good sprinkled on tips and then grilled...I did that all last summer.
