Lime Chicken Picante

Reviewed: Jul. 16, 2008
Great recipe, I love the blend of flavors. I throw the salsa, mustard and lime juice in a zip-loc bag and leave in the fridge while I'm at work so this is ready to cook when I get home. I've never topped with the yogurt and I don't think it needed it.

Scott Ure's Clams And Garlic

Reviewed: Jul. 15, 2008
I thought this would be a good recipe to try since I've never eaten let alone cooked clams and it sounded tasty so I may not be the review to look at if you already know you love clams. But I wasn't thrilled. I used a resling white wine and I think I should have tried something dryer, and my husband and I both thought the sauce should have been a little thicker so it could stick to the pasta and not spray all over the place.

Caribbean Grilled Chicken Breast with Pineapple Salsa

Reviewed: Jul. 15, 2008
This was really good and a nice change of flavor for dinner. There aren't so many recipes like this in my collection. So much flavor just plain rice was all the side it could handle, anything from a box with a flavor would have been overwhelming.

Eggless Peanut Butter Cookies

Reviewed: Jul. 15, 2008
My aunt is allergic to eggs so I make these for her every year. They aren't as moist as cookies with eggs but they're still good and she loves them.

Antipasto Salad

Reviewed: Jul. 15, 2008
I have made this several times, it's a great dish to bring to a bbq or potluck in the summer. Good blend of flavors I have never had need to alter it. However, I have forgotten to stir it up after it's refrigerated and some of the dressing flavor is lost so remember to give it a good wake-up stir before serving.

Grandma Johnson's Scones

Reviewed: Jul. 15, 2008
I have made these many times and they always come out excellent. Usually I add dried cranberries and squeeze some fresh lemon juice in the batter before baking instead of raisins and I've had many complements. I've also tried them with chocolate chips but the cranberries are my favorite. Sprinkle the tops with sugar in the raw before baking for some added sweetness.

This is a great recipe and my husband gets excited when I make it. I don't change a thing and it has come out perfect every time!
