Very good, but I used red instead of white wine, added basil and a wee bit of red pepper flakes to spice it up a little.

Was leary about mixing sour cream, mayo and fruit, but I followed the recipe as is and it was a hit at a family breakfast. Very nice in the middle of winter when fresh produce is not available.

Peach Bread

Reviewed: Aug. 12, 2010
I just made this w/peaches we picked (2 cups). SOOOO good, I did 1/2 C. Applesauce and 1/2C. oil and 1 3/4 C. sugar. I had to drain the peaches because they were so juicy. I have never seen a recipe for peach bread before, this is a keeper, fresh peaches dont last long, so it's nice to find a good recipe.

Very nice and moist. I used 1 pkt of oatmeal, 3/4 cup whole wheat flour and 3/4 unbleached flour, added 1 small cortland apple and 1/4 cup golden raisins. I did a streusel topping, baked for 45 minutes. This is a keeper, thank you!

Pizza On The Grill I

Reviewed: Jun. 28, 2009
The best way to handle the dough on the grill is to make personal size pizzas. I put them on a grill rack until they are cooked on one size and then put them directly on the grill. It's also a great way for everyone to have just what they want for toppings. I was able to make 4 pizzas this way. It's best to cook any veggies first. So very good, thanks~

Sweet Corn Bread

Reviewed: May 28, 2009
The BEST corn bread!! I have made corn bread that I could knock someone out with, dense, hard, horrible. This is so light, sweet and flavorfull, can't say enough. I did like others, 1/2 C. sugar and 1/2 C. sour cream and one small can of cream corn. PERFECT, Thank you so much for this recipe. First time I made it, it was gone the same day, I have to insist now, that my family show control!!

Quinoa and Black Beans

Reviewed: Feb. 23, 2009
This is SO good. I love quinoa and dont have a lot of recipes. I dont like vegetable broth, so I used 1 can of chicken broth and just 1 can of black beans. I totally forgot the cilantro, but it was still great. Next time. Nice little bite w/the cayenne and cumin.

Instead of the sour cream, I brushed the cutlets w/low fat plain yogurt and it was so good, my husband never knew, till the meal was over! Only used 1/8 cup of parm.

No Bake Peach Pie

Reviewed: Aug. 11, 2008
Although not pretty to look at, it is very good, w/a few slight changes. I used the lowfat crust, peach juice instead of water, 2 Tlbs instead of 3 of cornstarch and Splenda. Nice and low calorie.Could probably use a few more peaches too.

Baked French Toast

Reviewed: Jan. 21, 2008
I made this for a family brunch and it was not a hit at all, way to mushy, I was so disappointed after reading all the rave reviews. I did just as the recipe said, let it sit overnight, made my slices thick, and they hardend overnight before using them, hoping they would not get soggy.

Lazygirl's Ground Turkey Stroganoff

Great for a quick weekday meal, I used cream of chix soup and 1/2 C milk, instead of water. Add salt, pepper, parsley and a roll. It's a great meal, when you dont feel like spending to much time in the kitchen.
