Thai Chicken Cabbage Soup

Reviewed: Jun. 22, 2007
I was so excitee about this recipe and so terribly disappointed. I followed the recipe exactly. It was completely bland. I couldn't add enough of the Thai sauce--but there was still no flavor, only heat. Family felt the same way. Who can figure?

Oven Fried Parmesan Chicken

Reviewed: Feb. 17, 2005
A hit with the whole family! I doctored up the breadcrumbs with additional Italian herb seasoning. I too coated the chicken with flour first, and I added salt, pepper, and poultry seasoning to the flour. This was moist, smelled YUMMY, tasted YUMMY, and the bread coating was not too thick, not too thin, and stayed on the chicken while cutting with a knife and fork. Definitely a keeper!

Dee's Roast Pork for Tacos

Reviewed: Feb. 10, 2005
Boy, is this good! The flavors really infused the meat! I didn't need to "tweak" it at all after it roasted. The only change I made was adding Tabasco to the rub. I know I will make this again and again!

Fabulous Wet Burritos

Reviewed: Jan. 21, 2005
I was impressed with this recipe! My family loves tex-mex, but most recipes I try are too bland for us. I admit that I still added extra cumin, garlic, and onion, because I have to "doctor up" everything, and I too used only 1/2 can of refried beans. I used "Hot" tobasco canned chili to extra zip and the whole family loved this. It's going in my recipe book.

Banana Cake V

Reviewed: Jan. 21, 2005
My husband never asks for seconds when it comes to dessert, but he did this time! We all loved it. I too used brown sugar instead of white and yogurt in place of sour cream. I also agree with others that a little more banana would be better. I used the recipe for Cinnamon Bun Icing on this cake for a REAL treat!

London Broil

Reviewed: Jan. 5, 2005
Boy, was this a hit . . . with the whole family! I altered the recipe as several others did -- all-natural tenderizer instead of MSG and added some steak 'n chop seasoning. Marinated for 8 hours. Cooked a little longer because my husband and son don't like it as rare as I do. I was pleased with the flavor of this, and I can't wait to try it on pork and chicken!
