Soft, Moist and Gooey Cinnamon Buns

Reviewed: Nov. 24, 2011
Great rolls. I did the first rising last night. I rolled them up and cut them to rolls and put them in the fridge overnight so I could bake them in the morning. I took them out this morning and let them sit and warm up in a warm oven. Baked them and had Thanksgiving breakfast with little work.

Miriam's Not-So-Secret Challah

Reviewed: Apr. 2, 2010
Ok I never made challah bread. I have made numerous others though. I wanted it for an Easter bread. I braided it and placed it on a cookie sheet. I put 3 uncooked colored eggs in the center of the braids. It came out awesome. Thank you.

Old Time Soft Sugar Cookies

Reviewed: Dec. 23, 2008
more soft and fluffy then I wanted. I was looking for a chewy soft cookie. They did make great cupcakes which is what I ended doing with the dough. A little more buttermilk sugar and vanilla with 2 tsp baking powder and 2 teaspoons vanilla. Very excellent homemade cupcakes

Sourdough Bread I

Reviewed: Dec. 11, 2008
This recipe quadrupled over night. Note to self, buy bigger loaf pans. It overflowed the baking pans. I only have a small loaf pan. It makes a lot of bread and Im gonna need bigger pans cause I will definitely be making this again. Thanks for the recipe!

Aunt Johnnie's Pound Cake

Reviewed: Dec. 31, 2004
Fabulous pound cake. I substituted 1 tsp lemon and 1 tsp vanilla flavors, because I do not like almond. People raved about it. I was served with just powdered sugar on top. I gave it as a gift for Christmas and the recipients said it was gone too fast. Thanks for Aunt Johnie. Does she have any more recipies?
