Slow Cooker Sweet and Tangy Chicken

Reviewed: Aug. 25, 2005
Was pretty good. I scaled down the recipe for 4 people and cooked it on low for 8 hours. That was a bit too long. I'd say cook for 6.5 to 7 hrs. Plus, you have to watch the overcooking because all the sugar from the pineapple juice will burn. But otherwise I will try it again and shorten the cooking time.

Baby Spinach Salad with Tomato and Mozzarella

Reviewed: Jan. 7, 2006
Was ok. The dressing was a bit much though. The herbs definitly added some flair to it. I might try it again if I add more spinach and less dressing.

Down Home Macaroni and Cheese

Reviewed: Feb. 11, 2006
Loved it! I didn't use cheddar cheese as I didn't have any on hand so I used all Velveeta, the 50% less fat kind, and it tasted great!!! I will make this again!!

Rempel Family Meatloaf

Reviewed: Mar. 12, 2006
I always hated meatloaf. However, this is very tasty! As others suggested, I placed bread on the bottom of the loaf pan and I'm glad I did as it was very oily. I also used 3/4 C of breadcrumbs instead of the crackers. I used worstershire sauce in place of steak sauce. Next time I may cut down on the egg to reduce the oiliness. It is very good and I will make it again! Thanks for sharing this recipe!!

Stuffed Shells I

Reviewed: Dec. 17, 2006
Excellent recipe, thank you for sharing! I will make this again and again! I used the advice of another member and put the cheese mixture in a ziplock plastic bag and then snipped the end off when stuffing the shells. It worked great, no mess!!!

Christmas Cinnamon Pears

Reviewed: Feb. 17, 2007
I did not like this recipe at all, I made it and threw it away. I thought that there was hardly any flavor to it. The only thing I can think of is that maybe the pears weren't drained as well as they could've been and that that diluted the flavoring. I **might** try it again and make sure that the pears are drained VERY well.

Famous Chicken Francaise

Reviewed: Aug. 4, 2008
My first time attempting to ever make Chicken Francaise. This was a very good and very easy receipe to follow. I didn't have paprika but will use it next time for a little more flavor. I also sliced the lemon and let it simmer with the chicken, came out very good! I'll make it again, but will try the flour-egg instead of egg-flour next time too. Thanks for sharing, I will definitly make it again and again!

Stuffed Shells III

Reviewed: Aug. 8, 2008
Excellent! I didn't use mushrooms but added some dried oregano to the cheese mix. I also used 2 jars of sauce, as another user had suggested, and used a pan larger than 9x13. I didn't add any salt, it comes out salty enough. I used Bertoli brand tomato and basil spaghetti sauce. Will definitly make this again!!

Easy Garlic Chicken

Reviewed: Nov. 8, 2009
This was so good! My family loved it, even my picky Father who usually has a "it's good but...." type of opinion! As a side note, I used the "Yellow Squash Casserole" recipe by ROSECART on this site as a side dish, that was also fantastic! Easy to make, I will make this again, thanks for sharing this recipe!

Excellent! This was so easy to make and was perfect on a cold night. I used it as a side dish and scaled it down to 4 servings. Everyone loved it, even my picky Father!! As a side note, I used the "Easy Garlic Chicken" recipe by K Grecco as the main dish and they went together nicely. I will make this over and over again! A+++

Marinated Grilled Chicken II

Reviewed: Apr. 27, 2010
Delicious! I used Kraft reduced fat Zesty Italian. I marinated about 4 1/2 hours in a ziplock bag in the fridge. I did not use any lemon pepper as we didn't have any. They came out SOOO good!!! I will be using the other piece in a salad for lunch tomorrow. Thank you for sharing this recipe!

Very Fruity Rum Punch

Reviewed: Aug. 14, 2010
THE BEST! Everyone raved about it...there was none left by the end of the party! I followed others suggestions and used club soda in place of the water for the concentrated juice, it was excellent. My grocery store didn't have concentrated pineapple juice, so I skipped it and did just the OJ instead. I did add a small pineapple/banana juice that I got from the fruits and veggie section of my store. I also used Malibu coconut rum and added some maraschino cherries with the juice.
