So moist & delicious, everyone goes crazy over these cookies! I used lemon juice instead of the extract since that is what I had on hand, tasted great!

Raspberry and Almond Shortbread Thumbprints

Reviewed: Dec. 20, 2010
This is a keeper! I used home made strawberry jam & raspberry jam as filling. The raspberry jam was the best it tasted like Fisher's Scones! Thank you for the best cookie recipe!

Big-Batch Butterscotch Cookies

Reviewed: Nov. 6, 2009
Mmmm... nice soft cookies. I halved the recipe & added butterscotch chips I also melted the margarine. I would have liked a chewier cookie, I will try real butter next time. The butterscotch chips are a must! I will make again.

The cookies tasted really good, however, the logs really spread out. I think next time I will use this recipe for thumb print cookies.

Maple Walnut Pumpkin Pie

Reviewed: Nov. 30, 2008
Ok, I didn't make the pie listed, I used the Libby's pumpkin recipe using the walnut topping on this pie it turned out delicious! I made one with a graham cracker crust & a regular pie crust both were awsome!

Pretzel Salad

Reviewed: Jul. 13, 2008
Wow! This is my new favorite recipe! Tastes like strawberry cheesecake! In the recipe it said to crush pretzels, I put the butter, sugar, pretzel mixture in the food processor. It turned out like a graham cracker crust, delicious! Thank you for a great recipe!

Potato and Bacon Salad

Reviewed: Jul. 13, 2008
Well, it was good, but really lacked in flavor, I added more ingredients after making the recipe as noted. I added dill pickles, black olives, minced onion, galic salt, and more mayo & mustard.

Bacon Wrapped Smokies

Reviewed: Jul. 13, 2008
Kids love this recipe. I have made these twice once for my mom's group & for a family bar-b-que. My nephew was seen eating them by the handfuls! I did have a mishap with covering the pan with foil, some of the sugar leaked under the foil I am still peeling foil off the pan! I think it would have been an easier clean-up without the foil.

This turned out very nice & colorful. My husband really enjoyed it. I could have made it spicier. Otherwise a good salsa.

Caesar Salad Supreme

Excellent great garlic flavor. I used store bought garlic croutons & anchovy paste. I also added more milk to thin the dressing. It makes a lot of dressing. Thanks for a wonderful salad, loved it!

Lemony Caesar Salad

Loved it! The dressing has a wonderful garlic flavor. I used store bought garlic croutons & it turned out great! Instead of achovies I used anchovy paste. I also added more milk since it was a bit thick. It makes a lot of dressing. Thank you for a great recipe!

Pineapple Angel Food Cake II

Reviewed: May 12, 2008
It definitely was easy & few ingredients. It looked great out of the oven, however the cake middle collapsed! It didn't look so pretty. I dressed it up with coolwhip & slices of pineapple & star fruit. It tasted pretty good. I gave it four stars since it wasn't pretty & I was taking it to a potluck.

Holiday Green Gelatin Salad

Reviewed: May 12, 2008
I was very excited to see this recipe. My mom & grandma have made this for years, our family loves it! My recipe was very vague so it is nice to have a more detailed description. To cut calories and sugar I have made this with sugar-free jello, low-cal mayo, & fat-free evaporated milk & it it still tastes great! Sometimes, walnuts & marachino cherries are added.

Chewy Oatmeal Cookies I

Reviewed: Apr. 11, 2008
These cookies are good, I didn't think they were chewy, though. I added 1 tsp. cinnamon, 1/2 tsp. allspice, 1/2 tsp. cloves, 1/2 c. prunes, a full c. of golden raisins, omitted the chocolate chips.

Healthy Banana Cookies

Reviewed: Apr. 11, 2008
Great recipe, I added some changes, I used un-sweetened applesauce instead of the oil, added 1tsp. cinnamon, 1/2 tsp. allspice, 1/2 tsp. cloves, 1/2 tsp. ginger, and 1/2 c. chopped walnuts. The first batch I dropped by teaspoonfuls & baked for 17 min. turned out good, next batch I made cookies twice as big and flattened out baked for 15 min, turned out great. I will definitely make these again & experiment with other ingredients, too. I thought they were just the perfect sweetness. Thank you for a healthy cookie!

Excellent! I made this cake for Easter and it was loved by the whole family! The only thing I added was about a 1/2C. of golden raisins. Also, I did 1/2 applesauce 1/2 oil. It was very moist and full of flavor. This will be my one & only carrot cake I bake! Thank you sooo... much!
