Whole Wheat Banana Nut Bread

I did like other people suggested and used applesauce instead of oil. It comes out great every time! And you can't even tell that it's whole wheat flour instead of AP, honey instead of sugar, and applesauce instead of oil.

Glazed Pork Tenderloin

This recipe was just ok. My family thought the jam made the sauce too sweet. Maybe next time we'll try some pureed fresh fruit instead. The pork did come out tender though and the horseradish added a nice little kick. I also added fresh grated ginger and cinnamon to the sauce to give it some more depth.

Pork Tenderloin with Creamy Herb Sauce

This recipe was very easy to make and not so easy to mess-up! As suggested by other reviewers, I doubled the sauce. The only ingredient I changed was fresh parsley instead of dried. I also used rotini pasta. It still came out tasting great and may have helped with the "intense" flavor of the sauce that others commented on when using dried herbs only. The pork comes out very tender and flavorful. I also like that this recipe is very flexible in terms of the ingredients that can be added or included. Next time I'm going to try mushrooms and chopped frozen spinach in the sauce.

Spaghetti Carbonara II

The recipe didn't come out like the carbonara that I'm used to. I think it would've been better to take the carbonara off the heat when mixing the eggs. Mine became scrambled eggs. Also, other recipes recommended mixing eggs and parmesan together. Or combining both of thsoe with cream. I'll probably try that next time. Also, amount of onions could be scaled down and I would recommend the onions be finely diced instead of chopped.

Classic Tiramisu

Made this for a special New Year's Eve dinner. It was easy to make and delicious! I scaled it down to 4 servings and it still came out fine. That amount actually would've been good for 6 people, I think. Brushing with coffee liquer didn't seem to soak in enough, so I poured the liquer in so it would soak up better. Thanks for sharing!
