Smoked Sausage and Zucchini Saute

Reviewed: Jan. 11, 2005
We loved it. I used olive oil instead of butter and it was excellent. I will make it again very soon.

Salisbury Steak

Reviewed: May 18, 2005
This was incredible. When I first make a recipe I always make it to the letter, then if I feel it needs tweaking to my taste I do it again another time. The steaks were perfect, great texture and taste. I do agree with many, that the gravy seemed a bit ketchupy, will cut back next time maybe add a little beef broth instead and mushrooms. I will make it again.

Soy and Garlic Marinated Chicken

Reviewed: May 18, 2005
My husband loved it and asked me to make it again. Maybe next time I won't marinate as long. The soy tasted a bit strong, but great anyway.

Hungarian Noodle Side Dish

Reviewed: Oct. 22, 2005
Noodles were too mushy for my taste but my hubby liked it. I may try it again and only partially cook pasta.

Easy Slow Cooker French Dip

Reviewed: Oct. 22, 2005
This was so easy and so tasty. My hubby took a sandwich to work with him the next day. I used provalone cheese on the sandwiches and for once silence filled the dining room because we were too busy eating!

Angel Chicken Pasta

Reviewed: Nov. 18, 2005
I rated this recipe a while ago and have made it several times since and through trail and error I have found a process that suits my taste best. Low sodium chicken broth instead of white wine. I have changed my opinion since and it is now one of my favorite all time recipes.

Cheesy and saucy, and gooey. I loved it, so did my family. Will make it again.

Shredded Beef Chimichangas

Reviewed: Nov. 27, 2005
A bit flavorless compared to restaurants. Will try again with chicken or shrimp.

Cheesy Vegetables and Noodles

Reviewed: Nov. 27, 2005
Ok I guess. My son, who loves mac-n-cheese wouldn't try it because of the veggies. The processed cheese clumped together, but the garlic and soy was a nice touch.

Greek Style Garlic Chicken Breast

Reviewed: Dec. 4, 2005
I prepared and marinated the chicken while I went Christmas shopping then grilled it on my George Foreman grill. Quick, easy and delicious. Wouldn't change a thing. I am adding this to my family's list of favorites right now. We have taken to eating it with feta cheese over greens as a salad. Perfection.

Korean BBQ Beef (Pul-Kogi)

Reviewed: Dec. 6, 2005
I lived in Korea for a year and since returning to the United States my Hubby and I have been looking for authentic tasting Korean food. I found his favorite in this recipe. I used a fuji apple instead of a pear (didn't have one) and fo a brief moment we were both back in Tongduchon, South Korea. Thanks so much.

Tender Italian Baked Chicken

Reviewed: Dec. 8, 2005
I thought this was really good and moist. I marinated the chicken in italian salad dressing for several hours and made to recipe. The chicken was tender and flavorful, breading was crispy.

Easy Cheesy Tuna Casserole

Reviewed: Dec. 8, 2005
I'll stick to my mother's recipe and although I used extra sharp cheddar cheese is was just bland and a bit drier then I am used to. Sorry.

Brown Jug Soup

Reviewed: Dec. 12, 2005
My family loves this soup. Even my "I hate soup" hubby. I make it all the time, and living in southern Alabama I can always make it on the one cold day. Thanks for the recipe, I added it to my family's favorite list.

My Hubby loves Pork Chops but they aren't my favorite and I used to make a recipe very close to this, but ths is far superior. I look forward to Pork Chops when this is the meal.

Amish Yumazuti

Reviewed: Dec. 14, 2005
My hubby liked it because of the cheese. It was ok, even after the third time making it. Each time doing something different. This time I added 1/4 cup of sour cream as recommened. It was an improvement.

Chicken Pot Pie IV

Reviewed: Feb. 11, 2006
I had this recipe for a while before I made it. I am not a big fan of pot pies, then I had only had the frozen premade kind. I used frozen broccoli, sweetcorn and peas and carrots as well as a frozen pie crust. I seasoned the chicken with salt and pepper then used my George Foreman grill to cook it. It was excellent!

Slow Cooker Oatmeal

Reviewed: Feb. 22, 2006
I probably did this wrong though I followed the recipe exactly, because I ended up with a load of crusty...stuff stuck to the side of my slow cooker and mass of gelatinous goop under it all. I may try it again, but not for eight hours.

Carne Guisada III

Reviewed: Apr. 12, 2006
I had never had Puerto Rican food before, and this was a perfect experience for me. I do, however, agree that it was salty. My Puerto Rican mother-in-law raved over it. I made it in my crock pot, as she suggested and the meat was simply falling apart tender. Will make it again and again.
