Pork Tacos

I used frozen hash browns and added taco seasoning. It was a hit with the boys. Not being big on tex-mex myself I enjoyed these as well. Thanks.

Apple Coffee Cake With Brown Sugar Sauce

First off, the cake was quiet tasty, very moist and flavorful. Its translates well to gluten free. I don't recommend making it in a Bundt pan however. I followed the directions almost to the T having to sub gluten free flours for ap but the brown sugar mixture stuck to the bottom of my pan despite a liberal coating of cooking spray. Which isn't the fault of the cake.

Easy Pizza Sauce III

Here in the south most pizza sauce is slightly sweet, which I found distasteful until I grew accustomed to it. This is more like the sauce I grew up with as a midwestener. I loved it so much. Thanks.

Asian Style Country Ribs

I've never had much like with ribs, I suppose that's why I'm not a fan but my husband picked some up on sale. I scaled the recipe back for 8 ribs but followed the directions to a "T". only change I'd make in the future is a touch less sesame oil, for personal taste. Other that the ribs were tender and flavorful.

Cheesy Squash and Zucchini Casserole

I used what I had on hand to make this still only tweeking it a little. First I used 2 lbs of frozen thawed summer squash, unsalted, gluten free crackers, gluten free bisquick and home made gluten free bread crumbs. I added about a teaspoon of black pepper, I did forget the sugar but I think it tasted fine without it. Followed the directions otherwise. I loved it.

Puerto Rican Pork Roast

Pork and I have a problematic relationship, but I try. Finally I have found a pork recipe I can’t screw up. I followed the advice of a couple of other reviews and added 1 tablespoon of white vinegar to my 7.5 lb roast. Popped it into my slow cooker (while I slow cooked at the pool) for 10 hours on low and OMG! Never ever gonna prepare a picnic shoulder any other way. Perfectly moist and tasty. Thank you!

Smoked Sausage-Potato Hash

Three adults and 5 very picky kids ate their food! Because the cook (me) doesn't like peppers I omitted them. Topped with a couple of eggs overeasy a breakfast(for dinner)made in heaven.

Greek Pasta with Tomatoes and White Beans

I made some changes based on what I had or what I could find. Used Navy beans instead of cannellini beans because my husband couldn't find them at the store. Used regular diced tomatoes adding about 2 tablespoons of greek seasoning to the tomato mixture. Everyone ate it and only the kids complained. All in all a keeper.

Lentil and Sausage Soup

only change I made was using hickory smoked sausage instead of sweet italian suausage because thats what I had on hand. I felt the pasta was a bit much. It turned a bit thick to be soup but stew is spot on.
