Homemade Hamburger Buns
These hamburger buns were amazing! I am fascinated discovering how easy it is to make so many things I used to buy processed at the store (with who knows what preservatives and additives) at home. Like most of the reviewers said, these buns came out huge. You could get a couple more out of them; however, I like to use them to make grilled cheese sandwiches, so they were fine for me. Couldn't wait to try them so I used one before completely cool for my veggie burger and I was hooked. Never buying store-bought again. I couldn't get my yeast to proof after two attempts so I threw all the ingredients in my breadmaker and it was perfect (probably was the yeast, as I used my breadmaker yeast in the machine with no problem). Thank you Chef John!

Honey Mustard Dressing II
I know it's something so "simple" as dressing, but this was awesome! I have been searching for years for honey mustard dressing that tastes like what I get in restaurants with no luck. I now know why: they make it fresh! I am finally getting into cooking and am making almost everything from scratch so I really was pleasantly suprised that it was so easy to make delicious dressing (and know all the ingredients). Will never buy store bought again. Thank you!

Homemade Black Bean Veggie Burgers
Was really excited to try this recipe. Followed directions; however, as soon as I bit into it, all I tasted was black bean paste (and I had grilled onions and cheese on it). It had no spicy flavor and was mushy. I think I will try again and add whole black beans and up the spices. It held together and cooked like a patty, so I have hope.
