Love this soup. My only revisions are I use a bag of mixed shredded cheese. Family loves it.

Turkey Tettrazzini II

Reviewed: Dec. 5, 2011
This was a good start to the recipe. Like other reviewers though I used 2 cans of soup, cream of celery and cream of mushroom to add more moisture. I sauteed onion, mushroom and garlic in 3 TBS. butter then added the turkey, soup and sour cream and heated through, before mixing it with the noodles and baking.

Basil Tomato Soup

Reviewed: Oct. 11, 2011
This was a good base tomato soup recipe. But it was definately lacking some flavor. Sort of tasted like I was eating the canned tomato's with a little cream added. Have some leftover will use for lunch and add some other ingredients until we like it.

E-A-G-L-E-S Swirl Sandwich

Reviewed: Oct. 11, 2011
This was not good. It had no flavor and needed some kind of sauce or dressing inside. Will not be making it again.

Skillet Pork Chops with Potatoes and Onion

Reviewed: Sep. 18, 2011
My husband LOVED this recipe. He said it was outstanding. Trust me that is unusual for him and he is a picky eater. I thought it was very good too.

Meatball Stew

Reviewed: Aug. 22, 2011
I tried the recipe as is (without celery). It was good however it was a little to salty for my taste and I did not use any additional salt. I would make it again and use no salt tomato sauce instead of the soup and maybe try omitting the onion soup mix. and use beef broth. My 10 month old grandson liked it too. (Just chop it up really small)

Best Cream Of Broccoli Soup

Reviewed: Jun. 22, 2011
This was a great broccoli soup. The only thing I would change is to only puree 1/2 so that you have some broccoli pieces left in the soup. Served with bacon and cheese. YUM!

Taco Casserole

Reviewed: Jun. 22, 2011
We enjoyed this casserole. However I used beans instead of tomatoes and would omit the chips on top. I revised the recipe in Taco Mac Casserole with adding beans and using tortillas as a layered casserole.

This was really good I made it for Christmas eve and used potatoes, carrots, red onion, green pepper and cauliflower. The leftovers were good too.

Carnation® Swedish Meatballs

Reviewed: Nov. 13, 2010
We really liked this dish. I changed a couple of things, I used milk instead of water and omitted the dry milk in the meatballs. In the gravy I used butter as other's suggested. Omitted the dill and used more nutmeg instead. Hubby said he would like this gravy on chicken fried steak and potatoes.

Boppa's Peach Cobbler

Reviewed: Mar. 15, 2010
Rich and gooey. Put the dish on top of a foil lined baking sheet for run over. This was my grandfathers favorite cobbler recipe.

Resolution Run Black-eyed peas

Reviewed: Mar. 15, 2010
These are the best black eyed peas I have ever had. Even people who "don't eat" black eyed peas loved them and came back for more.

Chocolate Cream Pie I

Reviewed: Mar. 15, 2010
Made this just as the recipe stated. Definately a keeper easy and good. I will use a regular pie crust next time though not the deep dish. Served it with cool whip and it was first pie to go.

Hot Peanut Sauce

Reviewed: Mar. 15, 2010
I found this very bland. In fact it pretty much tasted like peanut butter. I even added garlic and extra soy sauce. Will definately keep looking for a new peanut sauce.

Magic Lemon Pie

Reviewed: Jun. 21, 2009
I love this lemon pie. You do have to make sure you beat the filling at least 2 minutes for it to thicken. I also use 3 egg whites for the meringue because we like it fluffy. My mom used to make this all the time and it brings back fond memories.
