Fantastic Focaccia Bread

Absolutely Fabulous!!! I added garlic, oregano, italian seasoning, and parsley like some of the other reviewers. I am so happy I decided to try this recipe, it's going to be made weekly!!!

Absolutely deliscious!!! I only used 1 (10 oz.) bag of spinach. And, I added yellow and green squash chopped up, which did not require me to add the water (There was enough from the veggies). I did use the Fat Free cottage cheese (unlike many others reviewers who used Ricotta), and it came out perfect! For the bottom and top layer of sauce, I just used the spaghetti sauce (without the veggies) and a sprinkly of mozzarella on top. Prego makes a good "Mushroom Supreme" sauce that was fabulous for this dish. I found a new favorite!!! Thanks!

Okay, I do not know how to correctly pronounce the name of this soup so I have been calling it the "Rockin' Moroccan Soup!" I made the soup exactly like the recipe says, but one change... I used 3/4 cup couscous instead of the vermicelli pasta, since so many people said it was unnecessary. It was perfect!!! Absolutely delicious!!! All the spices gave it a wonderful authentic taste. Hubby and I both loved it!!! I will definitely be keeping this one on my personal recipe book to make over and over again. Thanks!!!

Best Darn Minestrone Soup Around

I am a Detroiter and LOVE Lelli's minestrone soup!!! We go to Lelli's in Auburn Hills every year for mother's day and for other special occassions. We used to go to the one in Detroit, but that one burned down (or something arsen related) many years ago. I have to agree that your soup is very very similar to Lelli's. I did not make it with the elbow pasta and so I only put in 1 cup of heavy cream!!! I do have to admit that I threw out the first batch I made because the Fat Free Half & Half I tried to substitute for the heavy cream was just horrible!!! The second batch I made with the heavy cream was perfect!!! Thanks for giving me a new recipe I will make over and over again! Hubby loved it too, he said he was looking forward all morning to coming home for lunch and eating more of this delicious soup!

Coconut Shrimp I

I wish I could give this a 3 and 1/2 star instead of a 3. It is really not bad, but the overall flavor could use some improvement. You could definitely taste the coconut, but the batter was uneventful, rather dull and thin actually. Super-easy method to make.

Indian Chicken Curry II

My first comment is to read through the rest of the reviews before making this dish. The recipe alone is a great starting place, but you may want to take some of the suggestions you read to make it just right for you. Not everyone likes the same flavors, so you need to tweak it specifically for your taste buds. Thanks everyone for making this dish a perfect one for me!!!

West African Peanut Soup

Awesome soup!!! Hubby and I both loved it. A few minor changes... I used 4 cups chicken broth (instead of vegetable broth) and excluded the rice. Also, I used peanut oil instead of olive oil and only 2/3 cup peanut butter (don't need whole jar - way too much fat).

Creamy Vegetable Chowder

Nice, simple steps and easy ingredients. I hate when there are things listed in a recipe that I can't find at the grocery store. Definitely need to add some garlic to it though for flavor. I also put in "celery seeds" seasonings. Great for a low-fat recipie!

Pasta Fagioli

Two thumbs up! This soup has become my new favorite!!! Instead of the 2 regular tomatoes, I used 1 can of the "Del Monte Diced Tomatoes with Basil, Garlic, and Oregano." And, I love spicey foods so I doubled the amount of red pepper. Perfect! Way to go Star Pooley!
