Marinated Flank Steak

Reviewed: Jun. 27, 2005
Connie you are the hero for the day at our house. Had this flank steak that I had NO idea how to make taste good. Your recipe was great. Cooked mine in the oven at 500 on a grill rack over a pan for 8 mins on each side and was a perfect med-rare. Can't wait to make again and again and again....

Harvest Salad

Reviewed: Jun. 27, 2005
I made this for my family and they fell in love with it. In fact I've made it twice in the last three days! I did sub pecans for the walnuts and olive oil for walnut oil. It was WONDERFUL!! It reminds me of a salad I make which we add smoked turkey breast from the deli, then it becomes and entree. Thank you Tiffany

Restaurant-Style Potato Skins

Made these for a surprise for my husband. These were outstanding! My kids were fighting over the last ones, when I reminded them they were for day. They can't wait for me to make again, and so easy and cheap!! Never again will I pay the $7.95 for these at a restaurant.

Dip For The Stars

Reviewed: Jun. 20, 2005
Amazing and wonderful! I couldn't believe that I had everything on hand except the pine nuts, so didn't break my bank just to try. My family is begging me to make again. Turned the afternoon into a cheese and wine sampling. Thanks so much.

Buster Bar Ice Cream Dessert

Reviewed: May 8, 2005
Does it get any better than this?? Even while I was making the choc. sauce the neighbor kids were saying "what's that delicious smell?" and were very disappointed to hear that it was for the Mother's Day meal and wouldn't have a chance to try it. It was given all thumbs up by the family esp. my husband who is addicted to peanut fudge parfaits. The serving size is true, so be prepared to feed a crew. Thanks so much, this is going in the "official" family recipe folder. Everyone has to try this!!!

Annie's Fruit Salsa and Cinnamon Chips

Reviewed: May 8, 2005
This was the hit of our Mother's Day lunch! I doubled the recipe as we have over 20 people in our extended family. Even those who told me they "don't eat fruit" couldn't resist the temptation after all the comments. I just wish the cinnamon chips didn't take so long to make (esp. for this crew). This is a recipe for a lifetime thanks so much!!

Autumn Cheesecake

Reviewed: Mar. 27, 2005
This was the hit of Easter! Husband requested "Caramel Apple Cheescake" for Easter. So, I did make a couple of changes. I took other's advice and added extra cream cheese, sugar, egg, and vanilla, also I added 4oz of toffee bits. Yum! And drizzled Smucker's caramel topping over it. Also, the way to cook a perfect cheesecake is to bake cake at 425 for the first 15 mins and then reducing the temp. to 225 comtinue cooking for about 1 hr and 15-20 mins. Try this method and see if you do not have better results. I can't wait to make this again. It is SO easy!! Thank you Stephanie my husband is so gratful, too!!!
