Instant Chocolate Oatmeal Cookies

Reviewed: Jan. 8, 2007
The cookies were definitely good! I suggest a low boil for 1 minute. This will cook the sugar down a bit more and help solidify the cookies. Also, putting them in the fridge for about a 1/2 hour helps as well.

Yum! After hearing a friend talk about eating these as a kid, I had to find a recipe and try them for myself. These are so good and easy to make. What a great snack! Thanks for the recipe.

Whole Wheat Wraps

Reviewed: Jul. 11, 2007
Very easy to make and healthy to boot. Definitely need to add extra water, as I ended up doubling the quantity. Tastes great as a sandwich wrap and even with hummus. Thanks for the easy recipe!

Raspberry and Almond Shortbread Thumbprints

Reviewed: Aug. 1, 2007
So chewy and sweet. I even omitted the glaze and dusted the cookies with powdered sugar. The cookie goes nicely with other preserves as well. Great recipe, thank you! :)

Pistachio Crusted Chicken

This was fantastic. I made this for myself and my husband and we both loved it. We even cut up the leftovers to put on a salad the next day. Thanks for the great recipe.

Joey's Peanut Butter Cookies

Reviewed: Jun. 23, 2009
I'm sorry for giving this only 3 stars, but the dough was way too runny to form into anything at all. I added 1/3 cup of quick oats, formed the dough into balls, then rolled them in gran. sugar. They came out perfect and tasted fantastic, but only after I tweaked the recipe.

English Trifle

Reviewed: Jun. 23, 2009
I took this to our family Father's Day BBQ and it was a hit. Even the men raved about it and they usually don't comment on desserts! I used vanilla pudding, but I think I'll try using lemon next, just for a new flavor. Thanks!

Cranberry Crumb Pie

Reviewed: Dec. 28, 2009
I took this pie to our 20009 family Christmas gathering and it was a hit. Very tasty and turned out great. I give it 4 stars because I veered from the original recipe and made it with a shortbread crust instead. I also used 1/2 a can of jellied cranberry sauce and a 1/2 cup of whole (defrosted) cranberries. Thank you for the recipe. I will definitely make this again.

French Apple Tart (Tarte de Pommes a la Normande)

Reviewed: Nov. 10, 2010
I have to give this 4 stars since I had to do some tweaking with my on-hand ingredients and I had to bake it for an additional 15 min. Instead of almonds, I chopped up pecans and instead of apple brandy, I used 1 tsp butterscotch flavoring. That being said, it was fabulous and received rave reviews from my inlaws. I will def. make again. Thanks!

Snow Ice Cream II

Reviewed: Jan. 17, 2011
Wow, way too much vanilla. Very overpowering to all that tried it. Next time I will only use a teaspoon and see how that tastes.

Cherry Delight

Very delicious. I definitely recommend cold beaters and a cold bowl for the whipped cream, it goes a lot faster that way. The pie was a hit, I plan to make it again. Thanks for the recipe. :)

Fluffy Pancakes

Reviewed: Mar. 21, 2012
These pancakes are perfect as written. Fluffy and delicious every time! My picky 2 year old gobbles them up whenever I make them. I have even added 1/2 C chopped apples and a tsp of cinnamon and they were wonderful then too. A great recipe, thanks for posting!
