Whole Wheat Ginger Snaps
I agree with previous reviewer - spicy and chewy! There is no snap in them but I prefer these over any store bought ones I've ever had. Baked them and brought a plate out for card game with friends and there are none left. They are delicious and easy to make! I had looked for this recipe because husband had brought home whole wheat flour instead of reg flour (twice!) so I had to find a recipe that uses it up.

Banana Cake VI
Make that 10 stars! This is my all-time favorite made-from-scratch cake recipe and I have tried many over the years. I get many compliments every time I make it and I've made it five or six times over the last year. The freezing apparently makes the cake moist but I also like the fact that it keeps its height. I have made it in round cake pans and the cake ends up quite high. It looks nice when it's done and frosted. I'd like to find another cake recipe that I like as well as this one. I've made it twice this weekend, one for a grad party (not a crumb left) and then again for a family birthday the next day. I'd like to try the freezing trick with some other recipes and see what happens. Freezing also allows the first frosting (crumb layer) to take place sooner as it's cool in 45 minutes. Great recipe!

Stuffed Celery
This was a hit! There was nary a piece left after the party. I did take earlier reviewer's suggestion and doubled the nuts to 1/2 c chopped walnuts. I can see where that made a difference. Would definitely make again. Thanks, Linda.
