My Best Clam Chowder

Hash Brown Casserole II

Strawberry Spinach Salad II

This was a great salad. I added some goat cheese for another flavor. Be sure not to 'dress' it until right before serving or the spinach will wilt too much.

Italian Sausage Soup

This was very easy and very good. Like other reviewers, I also added onions when I browned the hot sausage. The only other change I made was to add sliced mushrooms. It was a hit with my card club.

Best Chocolate Chip Cookies

These are truly the best chocolate chip cookies! I followed the directions exactly, but sifted the flour before adding. They were chewy & crispy, the first to disappear from a pot luck!

Buffalo Style Chicken Pizza

I sprinkle blue cheese on this instead of using dressing...The wing sauce & chicken have enough sauce that you don't need a bottle of dressing. I also add about 3/4 cup of chopped celery in with the chicken & sauce... bake for 3/4 of the time... sprinkle blue cheese on top & return to oven...

Thai Chicken Pizza

Yummy! I used my own peanut sauce (Caprial's hot as hell chicken recipe), added some chopped red pepper & the carrots along with the chicken... Garnished with peanuts & cilantro after the oven... I think other reviewers are correct when they say it's all about the peanut sauce.

Creamy Au Gratin Potatoes

I doubled the recipe for a group of twelve, using 5 lbs. of potatoes & two onions. Next time I will add garlic to the cheese sauce... this time I sprinkled cayenne pepper on the top & would do that again for the extra flavor. They were a huge hit!

Italian Spaghetti Sauce with Meatballs

I made a much larger recipe. With 3 lbs. ground beef & 1 lb. italian sausage, I made 150 golf ball sized meatballs. I simmered it all afternoon; my guests could smell it cooking outside the front door. It's a very easy & really tasty recipe.

French Dip Sandwiches

I tripled this recipe to feed 20 adult kids... I used lower sodium soy sauce, but other than that I followed the recipe exactly. That is what I do with every new recipe I try. I don't think it's fair to rate a recipe when you make a bunch of changes... The sandwiches got rave reviews... I had carmelized onions & mushrooms as well as provolone cheese to serve with them on hoagie buns...

This was a very good recipe... I doubled it and ended up with two 4x8 loaves and three 3x6 loaves... I added chopped pecans because I didn't have walnuts and mashed the bananas; otherwise made per recipe.
